Part 2: Attack on Autobot City

Hot Rod continues firing arrow after arrow into the thrusters of the ship. It makes it explode, and the ship is beginning to crash land.

Bomb: "We're going down!"

Scavenge: "What do we do?"

Megatron blasts through the wall and everyone falls out. A green and black muscle car and a blue and red sports car fall out while all the other fly and drive to the city.

Megatron: "Shrapnel, Brawl, destroy the Autobot!"

Brawl: "You got it!"

Brawl jumps out and transforms into his tank form. He fires many shells at Hot Rod. He only barely dodges them. Protecting Daniel makes it much harder as one of the shell's splash damage forces him into a roll. Shrapnel fires blasts from above as well, and Hot Rod fires an arrow into his right eye. While he screams in pain trying to pry it out Brawl fires another shell. Hot Rod fires an arrow into the shell and it explodes. He and Daniel are inching to the edge of the cliff.

Brawl: "You're running out of options!"

Shrapnel: "Make them suffer suffer!"

A weaker engine is heard driving to the scene. It's Kup to the rescue. Brawl fires another shot and Kup transforms while jumping. Kup disappears in the explosion, and as Brawl aims at Hot Rod Kup appears out of the smoke. He fired from his shotgun at the last possible second to fake his death. He lands on top of Brawl and forces his cannon up to hit Shrapnel. Shrapnel crashes down, and Kup throws a grenade down Brawl's cannon. It explodes and Brawl is sent into the air and off the edge of the cliff into the water at least a hundred feet down. He survives at least, but even if he gets on his feet it's going to take forever to catch up to the others.

Rod: "Thanks, Kup. You really saved our lives."

Kup: "Our lives mean nothing if we can't get to the others in time."

Rid: "They have no idea that they're coming."

Kup: "I saw you fire your arrow into Starscream and alerted Magnus and the gang. They're prepared."

Rod: "Alright it looks like we're going to have to zipline there."

Hot Rod's bow transform into a crossbow. He fires out a bolt that connects to an adjacent mountain. The two zipline down the hill and spot someone in the distance. A brown and gold helicopter flies around observing. It's the lookout Blazemaster.

Blaze: "Blazemaster to Ultra Magnus, we've spotted Hot Rod and Kup!"

Megatron overhears this and sends one of his men to attack them.

Megatron: "End them, Thundercracker."

Thundercracker flies to the rope and lands on top of it with his sword unsheathed. Hot Rod swings upward and lands on the cord.

Rod: "Kup, take Daniel and get to the city. I'll handle Thundercracker."

Thunder: "Give me a break, kid. You're going to be full of holes when I'm through with you."

Kup takes Daniel down the hill while Thundercracker and Hot Rod face off on the tightrope. Hot Rod fires three arrows at Thundercracker. He knocks the first two away with his sword, but the third gets in his shoulder. While he tries to get it out Hot Rod jumps up and kicks Thundercracker right in the face. He steps back and Hot Rod presses on his attacks. He punches Thundercracker once, and he responds by backhanding him with his free hand. Thundercracker slashes down, but Hot Rod blocks it with his crossbow. Thundercracker tries forcing his strength on him, but Hot Rod fights dirty and stomps on his foot. He then hits his face with the bow. Thundercracker sweeps but Hot Rod jumps and flips over him and kicks him in the back. Thundercracker turns around and thrusts his sword at Hot Rod. It nearly hits him and he is getting off balance. Thundercracker knocks him down, but Hot Rod grabs the rope with his hands swinging around while simultaneously avoiding Thundercracker trying to step on his fingers. Hot Rod manages to swing up behind Thundercracker and fires an arrow into his back. It hits one of his thrusters, and it makes him fly. Thundercracker zips around the area screaming with zero control over his motions. He eventually crashes into the side of a mountain. Now Hot Rod grinds on his bow down the cord and eventually catches up to Kup and Daniel they're close to the city but not quite there yet. Blazemaster flies down to see them.

Blaze: "Hey guys, it's pretty bad down there."

Kup: "What's the extent of the situation?"

Blaze: "Megatron is utilizing the Insecticon's cloning powers to attack the walls. It's hard to hold them all back."

Kup: "Then why aren't you doing anything?"

Blaze: "You know I hate confrontation."

Kup: "And people wonder why I hate today's youth."

Blaze: "That's hurtful."

Insecticon drones attack the three. Blazemaster is trying to flee but his helicopter form can only go so fast. A few stray shots hit him in the sides.

Blaze: "Help!"

Kup: "You've got to be kidding me."

Kup and Hot Rod work together to destroy all the nearby drones. Kup fires his shotgun using only one hand.

Rod: "Doesn't that hurt?"

Kup: "Shut up and keep using that kid's toy of yours."

The drones just keep coming, and they keep attacking Blazemaster. It seems like he would be overwhelmed, but something starts shooting them out of the sky. On the hill closest to the city is a blue Autobot that is sniping. It's Overclock, the second best Autobot sniper. Every time he speaks he sounds a lot like Joe from Family Guy. He's communinicating with a special microphone despite being far away.

Clock: "Hey guys. Thought you might need some help."

Rod: "We're always happy to see you, Overclock."

Clock: "Are these guys bothering you?"

Blaze: "Yes!"

Clock: "Give me one second."

Overclock shoots down all the Insecticon drones attacking them within ten seconds.

Blaze: "Nice work!"

Clock: "I'll continue supporting you from afar."

Overclock gets interrupted when Ramjet flies down in front of him.

Ramjet: "Hey."

Clock: "Hello?"

Ramjet: "Whad'ya doin?"

Clock: "What am I doing?"

Ramjet: "Thwarting our plans?"

Clock: "Thwarting your plans?"

Ramjet: "Are you?"

Clock: "....Yes."

Ramjet headbutts him and Overclocks gets a dent in his head.

Clock: "Hey uh buddy, mind stepping back a few hundred feet? I'm not good with close encounters."

Ramjet: -grins- "Good to know."

Ramjet would have killed Overclock on the spot. Hot Rod has other ideas and fires an arrow right into Ramjet's spine. While he reels back in pain Overclock grabs his rocket launcher and shoots Ramjet with it. He is blasted off and painfully rolls down the whole way down.

Clock: "Thanks, I owe you one."

Rod: "Don't mention it."

Kup: "Seriously. Don't mention it. I don't want anyone thinking the old Kup has gone soft."

Hot Rod, Kup, Daniel, and Blazemaster finally arrive to the city. They land right where the Wrecker trio is fighting.

Topspin: "About time you guys showed up!"

Rod: "We had a slight detour."

Leadfoot: "We're just glad you're here."

Road: 'It's really bad. We're barely holding them back."

Rod: "I need to ask a favor of you. Can you take Daniel down to the shelter?"

Road: "Sure thing."

Daniel: "Be careful, Hot Rod."

Rod: "I will."

Roadbuster takes Daniel down to the shelter. Meanwhile Hot Rod, Kup, Leadfoot, and Topspin are fighting together while getting long range assistance from Overclock. Over on the other side of the city Mixmaster, Scavenger, Longhaul, and Scrapper are moving through the city when suddenly a helicopter appears and starts shooting them. Longhaul and Scavenger get shot down, and Scrapper hides behind Mixmaster's shields. The helicopter transforms into a handsome and charismatic Autobot known as Springer. He's the greatest Wrecker that ever lived, and he's ready to show off some skill.

Springer: "Hey boys. Is there room for one more?"

Scrapper: "We're good."

Springer: "That's too bad. I guess I'll just have to take my frustrations out on you."

Longhaul: "Uh we'll pass.

Springer fires round pods into Longhaul that explode. Scavenger fires at Springer, but he unsheathes a sword and shield and deflects the shot. He throws his sword into Scavenger's face to knock him out. Springer springs into action and attacks Mixmaster. He is safe from all the attacks thanks to his shield, but Springer jumps behind him and attacks from there. Scrapper fires his flail, and it nearly hits Springer, but he backflips and shoots Scrapper down. All is going great for Springer, but suddenly Rampage comes from behind and wraps his treads around Springer's arms. He slams Springer into the wall, and Hightower drives by and swings his ball in chain into the Autobot. Springer isn't looking good, and with all of the Constructicons against him it may be his last day as a warrior. In the background a noise is heard. It's like the engine of a bike. A blue motorcycle appears from above and transforms into Arcee, one of the most famous Autobots. She fires a crossbow bolt into Scavenger's chest. She leaps and repeatedly kicks Scrapper in the face. She slices her swords into Hightower's treads, and it forces him to crash. she shoots up Rampage and stabs Longhaul repeatedly with her arm blades. Mixmaster gets up and devises a wise plan.

Mix: "I believe a tactical retreat is in order."

Longhaul: "You don't have to tell me twice!"

With the temporary retreat of the Constructicons Arcee helps Springer to his feet.

Arcee: "Why is it that I'm always picking up after you?"

Springer: "I had them on the ropes."

Arcee: "Not from where I was standing."

Springer: "Semantics."

Hot Rod and Kup appear to aid in the battle.

Springer: "About time you showed up."

Rod: "It's been a long day."

Springer: "Well while you've been having fun I had to take down the Constructicons all by myself."

Arcee shakes her head to indicate he's lying.

Kup: "You all sicken me. You're just a bunch of amateurs."

Springer: "Then by all means show us how to do it."

Kup: "Gladly."

Kup pulls out a triple gatling gun that shoots down Skywarp, Shrapnel, and Bombshell.

Springer: "Not bad."

Arcee: "I'm ready to throw down with these guys. Try and keep up, please."

Springer: "What a woman."

The four Autobots work together to fight. Springer throws Arcee into a pack of Insecticon drones. in the air she thrusts her swords out and spins like a drill into them. Springer throws grenades that Arcee explodes in midair. Springer fires his gatling gun with Hot Rod firing arrows into the strays. In the south side of the city Wheeljack, Perceptor, and a female Autobot with a visor and three additional eyes are working on activating the defenses for the city. This is Proxima, Perceptor's brilliant sister that likes to call everyone clods. They are working behind an electric field that is protecting them from all damage. Kickback attempt to attack them anyway and gets shocked like bugs to a light.

Kickback: "I'll fondle everything you own!"

Perce: "Where are your manners?"

Proxima: "Nice try you Decepticlod!"

Wheel: "How soon can we get the city's defense full operational?"

Proxima: "Ten minutes. It might go faster if you actually put some effort into it."

Perce: "Dear sister there is no reason to act like this."

Proxima: "We're getting surrounded everywhere you fool! It's not my fault everyone in existence is a clod except me."

Wheel: "That's debatable."

Proxima: "Wheeljack, give me a distraction. I can handle your station. "

Wheel: "Good luck."

Wheeljack escapes the barrier via a trapdoor. Perceptor and proxima work together to try and fix the city's defenses.

Proxima: "We need more time. Blurr, if you can hear me your assistance is needed in our sector!"

All of the Insecticons reunite and have Skywarp aiding them.

Skywarp: "Please reach for the sky!"

Proxima: "Go away!"

Skywarp: "Go easy on me. This is my first time threatening someone."

A blue streak speeds by, and it takes out Kickback with one blow. The same happens to Shrapnel and Bombshell. Skywarp tries to run away, but the streak gets him too. It's Blurr, the fastest robot on land. He takes out all Insecticon drones that get in his way, and Hot Rod's team meets up with him and the scientists.

Arcee: "Nice work back there, Blurr."

Blurr: (talking fast) "Always a pleasure to help! Always!":

Kup: "Mind slowing down a but? The old hearing is failing me."

Blurr: "Sorry sorry Kup you know I just can't do that!"

Kup: "Maybe if I throttle you that might help."

Arcee: "Now that we have a moment of peace I can do this."

Arcee slaps Hot Rod out of the blue.

Rod: "What was that for?"

Springer: "She always has a good reason."

Arcee: "What were you thinking when you brought Daniel out in the middle of this? He could have got hurt!"

Rod: "If I left him alone he would have by Brawl's hands."

Kup: "He's right. I was there."

Arcee: "You're lucky we have more urgent matters to attend to. If I find even a hair out place you'll have to answer to me."

Springer: "Trust me, this isn't the attractive kind stern."

Overclock has been sniping all the drones that have dared to get near the drop.

Springer: "Thanks, Overclock."

Clock: "No problem."

Springer: "So where's the walking rulebook? He's usually in action."

Perce: "Scanners indicate he's approaching right now."

Perceptor is correct. Heading their way is a large, elongated truck of Cybertronian origin. It's Ultra Magnus, the true second in command of the Autobots and leader of the Wreckers. He's naturally much stronger than Optimus, but never has been quite as skilled.

Arcee: "Are we glad to see you, sir."

Springer: "I was afraid you weren't going to show."

Magnus: "Soldier, I have been busy fighting from the East walls. Even then I noticed you've broken protocol at least ten times today."

Springer: "This is war. We don't have time to discuss protocol."

Magnus: "You're creating anarchy in an established system. We can't have this madness going on during battle."

Springer: "Sorry I can't hear you over the sound of me ignoring you."

Magnus: "I won't tolerate this insubordination."

Arcee: "With all due respect, sir, I don't think this is the best time to discuss combat protocol."

Magnus: -sigh- "You're right. We need to focus on pushing back the enemy."

A violent screeching of tires is heard followed by screams of terror. A black and green muscle car blasts through the area running over several helpless generics. It turns into Mismatch a typical bruiser with the mental complexity of stale waffles.

Mismatch: "You guys are in my way! Move or I'll make you move!"

Magnus: "Stand down, Decepticon."

Mismatch: "You want to go, tough guy? I'll smash you under my tires!"

Magnus: "You won't make it past me."

Mismatch: "Oh really? We'll see about that!"

Mismatch transforms and drives his way to Ultra Magnus. He shakes his disbelief over his opponent's sheer incompetence. He fires the large missile from his arm and it makes contact with Mismatch. He explodes into millions of pieces. Longhaul and Hightower were behind Ultra Magnus and the group when this happened. They exchange a look and retreat.

Springer: "That was cold blooded. I'm digging it."

Magnus: "Unfortunately some people just have to die. It's a hard reality."

Rod: "Well now that that's over are we getting those defenses cleared up any time soon?"

Proxima: "It should be right about... now!"

The city itself undergoes a transformation of its own. The building's tops flip over to reveal large guns, turrets, missile launchers, and cannons. They already start making a difference by destroying a huge chunk of the Insecticon armada. Blazemaster even looks like he wants to participate.

Blaze: "I might as well get closer."

Mixmaster, Scrapper, Splicer, Astrotrain, and another new Decepticon are working in a group together. This one is named Deadheat. He was a wrestling star turned soldier.

Deadheat: "Ohhhhhh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I'll snap into a slimjim and RKO these guys into next week, brother!"

Astro: "Yeah sure you will."

Deadheat: "Then I'll smack them around like my last opponent, and it's going to be on pay per view!"

Blurr: "Blazemaster, assistance would be oh so wonderful."

Blaze: "Are you asking what I think you're asking?"

Blurr: "Are you good for goop?"

Blaze: "Yes sir we are good for goop!"

The underside of Blazemaster opens up and it drops some green gelatinous substance that is dropped on the team. They instantly fall to the ground because it's so slippery.

Splicer: (panicking) "Oh no! I have an intense fear of goop!"

Astro: "It's all in my eyes!"

Deadheat: "They think goop can stop me? I'm Deadheat!"

Mix: "I know what to do!"

Scrapper: "I swear if you say sliding like penguins I'll-"

Mix: "We have to slide like penguins!"

Scrapper: "I'm done with this world."

Mixmaster, Scrapper, and Splicer slide like penguins to retreat to a lower area of the city. Deaheat and Astrotrain are still slipping since they didn't follow Mixmaster's advice.

Blaze: "Alright, I'll prepare the next batch for-"

Blazemaster gets attacked by someone firing purple scales into his blade's. It slices one of them, and it forces him to crash atop one of the highest points of the city. It was Waspinator who shot him down ,and he's ready to fight.

Blaze: "What? Get away from me!"

Wasp: "Waspinator grows tired of your cowardice!"

Blaze: "Stay back, don't make me hurt you."

Wasp: "Funny joke."

Blazemaster has no choice but to fight, but he's terrible at it. He tries using his blades to attack Waspinator, but he fires one of those pulse lasers from his arms that hits Blazemaster in the chest. He fires some sales into his leg, and then Blazemaster tries to run away. Waspinator fires from his grenade launcher, and it hits Blazemaster right in the back. He's on the floor completely vulnerable. Waspinator dives down and tears out pieces of Blazemaster's back until he kills him. He then tears off his head and holds it up like a trophy.

Arcee sees this and shoots him in the chest. Waspinator snarls and crushes Blazemaster's head in his hands. he dives to fight Arcee, but Blurr comes in and jumps high enough to meet him to kick him in the head. He kicks him so hard it decapitates him, and his head is sent to the other side of the city and falls into the moat.

Arcee: "We're down a man."

Springer: 'Let's try and prevent this from getting any worse."

Starscream and the Coneheads bombard the area where the three of them are standing. Starscream and Ramjet attack Arcee, Dirge fights Springer, and Thrust unsuccessfully faces Blurr. Starscream fires a missile that creates an explosion where all three Autobots are hit. Now that they are corralled Thrust flies in and unleashes a shockwave to overheat their weapons.

Scream: "You're finished, Autobots!"

Springer: "Nah, this just means we have to do it the old fashioned way."

Dirge: "How adorable. You actually believe you have a chance."

Arcee: "Do you ever shut up!"

Scream: "I'll silence you forever!"

Arcee slices up Ramjet, but then he catches her hands. He headbutts her to knock her down. Springer sees this and slaps Dirge to knocks him out. He fires a missles into Ramjet to defeat him. Thrust gets pummeled by Blurr and retreats. Now Starscream is all alone.

Springer: "Your move mister bigshot."

Scream: "I know better than to face all of you. Next time you won't be so lucky."

Springer: "I doubt it."

Starscream retreats, but is shot down by Blaster. He is inside his own tower and is shooting anything that moves.

Blaster: "I bet i'm getting a bonus for hitting that one."

Megatron and Soundwave have been laying waste to all opposition in the West. They are close to Blaster's tower. Perceptor managed to sneak his way into the tower and makes a very useful suggestion.

Perce: "Blaster, we need more help. Contact Optimus and the other immediately!"

Soundwave overhears this and reports it back to Megatron.

Megatron: "Finally, it's what we've been waiting for."

Blaster quickly types ibn for help from Optimus. He isn't sure if he is getting a response, so he then starts calling Grimlock for help.

Soundwave picks up on this and ejects Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, and Ratbat.

Rumble and Frenzy destroy the antenna to break the signal. They then bust through the ceiling.

Rumble: "Looks who's ready for a pounding!"

Frenzy: "You guys aren't going to walk when I'm through with you!"

Frenzy jumps to attack and Blaster shoots him down.

Blaster: "I got a little surprise for you guys."

Blaster's gauntlets shoot out to become a small blue Autobot and a small black Autobot. They are Eject and Rewind. Blaster ejects two additional pieces from his chest. It's a lion named Lockjaw and a rhinoceros named Ramhorn.

Eject: "We are here to serve."

Rewind: "Did you know that you will be experiencing pain?"

Frenzy: "I hate it when this guy speaks!"

Eject: "You will face swift justice."

Rewind: "And a swell educational experience."

Frenzy: "Stop talking!"

Each of the four minions fights one of Blaster's deployers. Lockjaw fights Ravage, Ramhorn takes Ratbat, Frenzy fights Rewind, and Rumble dares to face Eject. Rumble swings his piledrivers at Eject, but he reveals he has nunchucks and slaps Rumble around with them. The tips of them open to reveal hidden guns, and he pelts Rumble with bullets until he falls off the edge and drops to the floor. Soundwave catches him with his tractor beam. Rewind distracts Frenzy by spouting random phrases of trivial knowledge. He kicks Frenzy out by throwing at shield on his back into him. Ravage and Lockjaw are rolling around slashing each other with their claws. Ravage has the advantage because he has guns and shoots Lockjaw in the sides. Eject and Rewind intervene and throw Ravage out. Ramhorn is having no luck hitting Ratbat. He keeps trying to uppercut him with his horn, but Ratbat always ascends at the last moment to toy with him.

Ratbat: (mocking) "Ha! You cannot touch me you simple-minded beast!"

Eject: "Then allow us to give you a more engaging battle!"

Rewind jumps and grabs Ratbat. He throws him into Eject, and he swings his nunchucks like a baseball bat to defeat Ratbat. Megatron and Soundwave witness their defeat and make an interesting decision.

Rumble: "They really gave us a hard time."

Soundwave: "Shall we engage?"

Megatron: "No. They are all weak. They contacted Optimus, which is exactly what I wanted all along. For now you will help me solve a family dispute with my brother Ultra Magnus."

They leave in search of Ultra Magnus. Perceptor congratulates Blaster on a job well done.

Perce; "Splendid! You managed to repel those malcontents."

Blaster: "Couldn't have done it without them."

Rewind: "Yes well I hope my name comes first on the list of those that contributed the most."

Eject: "Rewind! You should be honored to even be part of this!"

Rewind: "Excuse me for wanting my talents to be recognized."

Perce: "Blaster, do you think you managed to get through to Optimus?"

Blaster: "I hope so, and if not it's game over."
