Arabella woke up after a long car journey to Nevermore, her hair wrapped around her Headphones that were now slouching down her back.

As the car stopped to wait to go through the gates, her ears perked up at the noise of all the students, letting a half growl, half groan leap from her throat. She hated people, that was the reason her parents sent her to this school in the first place.

"how long is this gonna take?" Arabella sat up straight, her back stretching from the position she was in before, the cab driver shrugging as cars passed theirs.

"beats me, we've been here for at least thirty minutes whilst someone was asleep."

"Plus, we still need to help you unpa-"

"yeah yeah, i can handle that myself, i know where my dorm is." He was abruptly cut off by Arabella, obviously because she was sick of waiting, there was never a day where she didn't feel impatient. She didn't really know where her dorm was, only the name of it was familiar to her.

Around a good half hour passed before they were outside the manor of Nevermore, finally pulling up in a parking slot, the cab driver getting out and opening the boot. Arabella waited for a moment before getting out, having the attention immediately drawn on her. Arabella wasn't in the uniform that they were all in, she was in a baggy set of jeans, the shirt she was wearing practically clinging to her hips.

Arabella dragged her headphones over her ears, walking over to the back of the car. The cab driver passing the suitcase of clothes and items to her palms.

Her hands immediately snatched the case from him, rolling her eyes. "Thanks, is that everything?"

He nodded in response, not wanting to upset her anymore than she already was, "oh wait, your mom said she hopes it goes okay"

By the time the word 'mom' was mentioned, Arabella was already walking in the opposite direction, her eyes facing the other students walking inside, the headmaster greeting everyone as they walked in.

As she saw her friendly face, she remembered her parents saying that she'd 'recognise' the face of the principal, and she did alright.

Larissa Weems.

Arabella looked the opposite direction, blasting her music into her ears as she walked straight past the principal. Feeling Weems's eyes drawn to her.

She used to be her mother's best friend in school, but ever since that night, Arabella has always been told not to make contact with her. The only reason she was sent to the school was because of her parents going there when they were younger. They thought Arabella could find someone to love like they found eachother.

But little to their knowledge, she wasn't interested in love.

Arabella's eyes were stuck into her phone as she walked up two flights of stairs, walking down a long hallway.
