The 7 Days of Disappearing

Chapter 1 (DAY 1/DAY 7 )

(Day 1)

It was morning. A cold wind was blowing and a slight mist hung over the sky.

Rain—a young Indian man who was passionate about uncovering the truth behind abandoned places and paranormal events—had arrived in Finland for the first time. Books and a camera were always with him.

His curiosity led him toward an old, deserted hotel—which the villagers called “The Silent Hotel.” Rumours in the village said that anyone who went there never returned.

Rain pushed the door open. Inside, a smell of dust and decay hung in the air. The cold wind streaming through the broken windows rattled the walls. In the third room, he found the strangest thing—an old computer that was switched on.

On the screen, the words automatically typed out:
"You found me."

Rain’s breath hitched. He cautiously pulled a chair and sat down.
The next message appeared—
"If you want to know the truth, come back tomorrow."

He stared intently at the computer, then exited with a heavy heart. But only those words kept echoing in his mind.

(Day 2)

The villagers kept warning him—
"Don't go there, son… people disappear there."

But Rain's curiosity only increased. He returned to the hotel in the afternoon. The computer was still on.

Typed on the screen was—
"Day 2. Do you believe in ghosts, Rain?"

Rain tried to type a reply, but every word he typed instantly vanished. Suddenly a file opened—“Diary of the Vanished.”

The file read:
"Seven days… if you read till the end, you will disappear too."
Staying in the hotel that night, he heard footsteps. When he shone his torch, there was no one. But deep inside, he felt—someone was watching him.

(Day 3)

In the morning, his condition was worse.

The computer read—
"Day 3. You are getting closer."

Then blurry images appeared on the screen—the hotel rooms, and a man standing in them. His face was indistinct, but Rain felt like he was staring right at him.

That night he dreamt. Someone was whispering—

"Don't trust the diary."

(Day 4)

Rain opened the door to the hotel's basement.

Symbols were carved on the walls, and burnt pieces of candles lay scattered.

This time the computer read:
"Day 4. You can still go back."

But now, going back was impossible for him. He read more entries. They stated that “This hotel is a portal… whoever comes here can never return.”

At night, he heard it—as if an invisible hand was knocking on the door. His camera automatically switched on and started recording.

(Day 5)

In the morning, he watched the footage. In it, a shadowy figure was standing next to Rain—while he himself was asleep.

The computer message came—
"Day 5. They are watching you."

The hotel had now become a maze. No matter how much he tried to leave, the same corridors and the same doors appeared before him.

(Day 6)

His condition was now extremely poor.

The computer read—
"Day 6. Tomorrow is the last day."

The file read—
"Rain entered the hotel. Rain stayed. Rain cannot leave."

That night, voices came from the walls—“Join us.”

The room temperature suddenly dropped to a freezing level.

(Day 7)

In the morning, Rain went to the computer with trembling hands.
The final message appeared on the screen:

"Day 7. Time to vanish."

Suddenly, an old diary materialized before him.

Its pages began to flutter on their own, as if an invisible force in the air was flipping them.

Rain hesitantly touched the diary—and then all the pages flew rapidly and began to stick to his body.

Each page clung to his chest, hands, and face.

He screamed, but his voice was muffled.

Finally, the diary merged with his entire body.

Rain was no longer there. Just some dust-like marks scattered on the floor… and then silence.

Epilogue – The Investigation
A few days later, the police were informed that an Indian student named Rain had disappeared.

Officer Mikael was assigned the case.
He traced Rain's routes and finally reached the Silent Hotel.

Inside, he found Rain’s bag, some clothes, and a broken piece of the camera.

But the strangest thing was—Rain's footprints led up to the hotel's main gate… but there were no footprints for exiting.

The Case report read:
"Rain entered the Silent Hotel. He never exited. The place remains a mystery."

Officer Mikael walked out of the hotel. But suddenly, a cold wind blew and he felt as if someone had whispered in his ear—

"I think so… only you know this fact… Rain."

Fear was clearly visible on his face.
The case was still not closed.
