"I'm afraid not...Would you like to know me...?" Light fought down a blush of embarressment at his words as he pulled himself up with a scowl "No, thank you...." he mumbled as he walked past the strange man with annoyance "Hm...You may call me L...I look forward to seeing you again Light-kun..." the raven haired boy smirked as Light involuntarily shuddered at his name...Something familiar was tugging at the back of his mind....'L'...He sneaked a glance over his shoulder at the other boy and saw his retreating back...Just who was that...? Light frowned deeply as he shook away his thoughts of the stranger and faced the eerily silent laptop in the center of the library...He cleared his throat for good measure "U-Uh...Ryuzaki-sensei...? I'm sorry I haven't been to tutoring but you see I was in--" Static quietly hummed as the synthetic voice spoke "Yes, I've already been notified of your leave of absence...However, your studies are leaving you far behind Light-kun, one of my students will aid you from this point on until you understand what you've been missing" I frowned deeply as I thought of the other boy I had ran into "You don't mean L, do you sensei....?" I sighed deeply as I felt myself beginning to get a headache "Is something wrong with that...?" the computer inquired with interest as I shifted my foot to one another with embarrassment "Well...He's just so weird...I don't think him teaching me anything will be taken seriously..." I confessed as the computer remained silent "...How so...?"he silently countered as I sighed "I would think it was rather obvious Sensei...His clothes look as if he hasn't washed himself in ages and his eyes are just--very unnerving...I'd rather not be left alone with that stranger..." I huffed as the library remained tense with the words left in the air "Hm...I see...Very well then Light-kun since you have such a great interest in L, I will allow him to help with your studies until I no longer deem it necessary....You are dismissed..." My eyes widened with disbelief as I banged by fists against the desk "W-WHAT...?!! T-This is unnecessary...! Sensei...!!" My eye twitched irritably as the computer remained silent
"Get well soon Light-kun..." the computer, Ryuzaki, spoke with finality.
