She opens her eyes to the sound of her ringtone. Her eyelids flutter open slowly. It's her Dad. She, still half asleep, picks up. "What's up?"

"Are you still sleeping? Get your ass up! Do you know how late it is!?"

Han-eul takes the phone from her ear and looks at the time. Then it hits her. She's late to her first day at her new school. "OH MY GOD, SHIT!"

The girl fastly hangs up and sprints out of bed.

...

In front of her classroom she tries to steady her breathing but it's not working. She's dying on the inside right now. But she knocks anyway. A nice looking female teacher opens the door surprised. "Can I help you anyhow, young lady?"

"What? I mean I'm supposed to go here now. This is supposed to be my class."

"Oh? But- you know what. Just go sit down in the back there." She says pointing to an Empty Chair. Han-eul's father didn't tell her mich about her new school. Including that it's an all boy school. Her jaw drops to the floor before hurriedly walking to the empty seat. Next to her a sleeping boy. Still shocked, Han-eul takes out a textbook. Then she notices. She forgot her pens at home.

It was already embarrassing enough that she was late, but now that? Horrible. Her head drops onto the table and she quietly whines into her sleeve. Then she felt something on her head. She slowly looks up, and a piece of paper falls out of her hair onto her desk.

Han-eul's eyes try to find the person who threw it, and when she sees three boys laughing while looking in her way she can already guess who it was. But still she unfolds the paper looking for a message.

You lost baby?

Her jaw drops again. What did she do to deserve this. What?

...

At lunch time Han-eul stands up trying to quietly and quickly go to the cafeteria. On her way there pretty much every boy is staring at her. And in the cafeteria she walks over to the only table wich is still free. And now she sits there, Alone, Eating. She can practically feel the eyes on her. Then she notices the presence of somebody standing next to the table. She slowly turns her head to see a tired looking boy standing next to her. His eyes focused on her. "Can I help you?"

"I sit here."

"What, like normally?"

"Yes. Normally I sit here. Alone."

"Oh, okay."

Han-eul shoves another piece of chicken into her mouth not letting herself get annoyed by the boy standing next to her.

"Fine."

The boy sits down across from her eating his meal slowly. Han-eul doesn't mind the awkward presence of him, she just keeps eating, absorbing the way people talk to each other. Almost like they're all best friends. And they might just be, it's not like she would know that.

When the school bell rings she takes a look at the one in front of her. But the boy just keeps eating his food, not minding the other people getting up.

Han-eul quietly eats the last bit of rice and then stands up silently.

...

The rest of the school day passes pretty fastly. On her way home she puts headphones on and listens to her playlist. While softly humming she doesn't notice the tired boy walking in the same direction as her.
