"Truth."

He smirked. "Do you actually like kissing me, or do you just do it to shut me up?"

"Both."

The room erupted. Lucas clutched his chest. "Cruel."

Max just winked at me. "You know it's true."

Beside me, Will's hand absentmindedly traced patterns on my ankle, like he didn't even notice.

Max's eyes caught it instantly. Her smirk sharpened. "Alright. Y/N. Truth or dare?"

"Truth."

Her grin was dangerous. "When you slept over at Will's last week—"

I groaned. "Oh my god."

"—did you do more than kissing?"

Will nearly choked. "MAX!"

Lucas whooped. "Ohhh, that's good. Tell us!"

Mike blinked, scandalised. "Wait—slept over? Will! You never told me that!"

"Relax," I muttered, cheeks blazing. "I was drunk and nearly lit myself on fire. Nothing happened."

Lucas leaned in. "Mhm. But it could've."

"It didn't!" Will blurted. Too fast. Too defensive.

Max gasped theatrically. "Look at his face. Guilty!"

"It's not guilty!" he snapped.

Lucas elbowed her. "Bet they didn't even make it to kissing."

"We did—" Will froze, realising.

Max and Lucas howled. Mike groaned into his hands.

Max smirked at me. "So you're seriously telling me you spent the night in his room and nothing else happened?"

"That's exactly what I'm telling you."

Lucas grinned wide. "Don't buy it."

My cheeks burned, but I grinned anyway.

Then Will shifted beside me, lips twitching. "Alright, Y/N. Truth or dare?"

I narrowed my eyes. "Dare."

He grinned. "Admit you still sleep with your stuffed rabbit. The one missing an ear."

My jaw dropped. "Will!"

Max gasped. "Wait—you do?"

Lucas howled. "This is amazing."

"Okay, maybe sometimes!" I snapped. "That doesn't count!"

"Totally counts," Will said smugly.

"Alright, Byers. Truth or dare?" I shot back.

"...Truth."

"Is it true you cried for an hour when E.T. died?"

His ears went crimson. "I was seven!"

Lucas slapped the rug. "Better and better."

Will glared at me, but his lips twitched. "Fine. Dare."

I smirked. "Call Jonathan right now and tell him you lost your virginity."

His soul visibly left his body. "WHAT—NO!"

Max screeched with laughter. "DO IT!"

"Absolutely not!" he yelped, scarlet.

"Coward," I sing-songed.

He peeked through his fingers, then smirked. "Fine. Truth for you. Is it true you once told Max you wanted to kiss me underwater?"
