Jade Sawyer had a kid when she was seventeen. Sage Sawyer was born on March 26th, 2012 and ever since that day she was the most important thing in Jade's life.
There wasn't a boy, a girl, a friend, or a parent that she loved even half as much as her girl and there never would be—she knew that.
But there was still a part of her that was worried she would turn out like her mother—more focused on building a relationship with a man that would likely ditch her after they slept together than her baby girl. So she closed herself off to relationships.
She still had her fun with the occasional hookup, but it was just that, a hookup. The most important part: Sage would never meet them. She didn't want her getting confused.
So she wouldn't bring anyone home if Sage was there. Jade was lucky enough to have her parents and Sage's father, all of which were supportive and completely respected Jade's roll as Sage's mother. Her parents would take turns watching Sage while Jade was at school and Sage's father, Elliot Weston, would take her every other weekend.
Jade made sure to keep to her adventures on days her daughter wasn't there. Making sure to keep her worlds separated.
Until the night John Tucker walked into her life.
Jade made one small mistake and now her two worlds were crashing together.
