Drashel's POV - Part 2

"Ah! Mamatay ka na!" My opponent screamed and launched an attack.

I am in the middle of killing trespassers inside of Murtex in the middle of the night when my mother's words lingered inside my head.

"You can be who you want to be when you grow up but; don't you ever forget to do things without using this." She pointed my chest where my heart is located. "Spread kindness how bad things goes on your way." She smiled at me softly.

I suddenly stopped in the middle of our fight, the reason why my opponent had the chance to strike me with his sword, cutting the skin of my arm, and immediately, the blood flowed, dripping and staining the grass of the forest.

My jaw clenched and my hold to the swords I am holding tightened.

Malakas ko siyang sinipa sa dibdib na kaniyang ikinatumba, and I didn't waste any moment and struck him in the stomach using the sword I am holding.

I am with Ced and his cousin, Vin, they are one of the captains of the warriors here in Murtex, ang hinahawakan ni Ced ay ang hilaga, at ang kay Vin ay ang timog kung saan mas malapit ang karagatan.

Mahigpit kong pinapabantayan sa kanila ang karagatan. At mahigpit kong ipingbibilin na kung may makikitang mga halimaw sa karagatan ay kaagad nilang tatapusin.

I am not certain how many they are. But my only aim is to end the every life in this island. At uumpisahan ko iyon sa mga halimaw na nakatira sa karagatan.

Wala dapat. Walang maiiwang buhay.

This revenge of mine is the only thing that keeps me alive, the reason why I cannot let it go, even after realizing that what I am doing is not good. And a possibility that my mother wouldn't be happy with it.

One time, we happened to catch a sea monster. A male sea monster. His face is similar to a fish, and his tail is similar to a snake. His face looks angry. His sharp-teeth are showing while glaring at us. The warriors that I am with kept on talking to him but he's not talking and just kept on hissing. And of course, I am already expecting that we won't understand one another, because it's understandable that he's different from us, the reason why I just killed him. That made their whole species angry of us than before.

Marami na rin silang napatay sa mga kawal, they know how to fight. And they have the ability to lured us with their voice especially at night. Dahilan upang kapag malapit kami sa karagatan, ay tinatakpan namin ang aming mga taenga upang hindi marinig ang kanilang mga boses at kami ang mapatay.

Based from our ancestors, they are the guardians of the different portals in the sea; connected to other dimension; blocking other species going inside of this island.

But I don't believe such thing and continued eliminating their clan until I saw that girl.

I am an observant person, and I know when someone is hiding something. She acted strangely every time I saw her. Yet I couldn't understand myself whenever I was near her. It was as if something was pulling me towards her and I can take my eyes off of her even though, I couldn't see her face because of the cloth hiding it.

I saw her peeking at the room door of the slut wife of my dead uncle. Fucking the new healer in the mansion.

The side of my lips quirked up.

A curious kitten huh?

She looks horrified while running, and I get that chance to let her see me.

I let my self being bumped by her and she fell down, groaning in pain.
