Payson. The name runs through my mind a million times. Payson. I really like Payson. I decided to ask Payson out. On a date. I call her and she picks up. "Hello?" She says, "Hey Payson um..." I say nervously. What do I say?! What do I do?! I stand there not speaking into the phone for what seems like ages. "Joey?" Payson says. "I'm here! Sorry" I quickly respond back. I'm totally making a fool out of myself! There's no way she'll says yes if I can even get the words out.. Finally I build up enough courage and I say into the phone "Payson?" "I'm still here Joey" she giggles. "Ok. Payson? Will you go on a date with me tomorrow?" The phone line goes silent. I bite my lip and immediatly regret what I've done. "Of course Joey!" An excited voice says to me. "Really?!" Play it cool, Joey, play it cool I say to myself "Cool ill uh see you tomorrow then" "Ok see you tomorrow bye!" Payson says "Bye!" I respond back. As soon as she hangs up the phone, I celebrate.
