This story began as a series of scribbles on the Notes app of my iPad—just little ideas, fleeting thoughts, and characters I couldn’t stop thinking about. It was something I wrote for fun, late at night, in quiet moments when the world felt too loud. I didn’t expect it to grow into what it is now: a full story with chapters, emotions, twists, and moments that made me laugh, sigh, and sometimes even hold my breath.
Every scene, every conversation, every almost-moment between Judy and Joss came from a place of curiosity and care—trying to capture the way people feel when they’re afraid to be seen, but secretly craving to be known. The friends, the laughter, the heartbreak, and even the small gestures are all pieces of a world I wanted to feel real.
This story is my note to the moments we hold onto, the sparks we almost ignore, and the love that quietly insists we can’t escape it. I hope as you read it, you feel it too—the heartbeats, the tension, the joy, and the certainty that some connections aren’t meant to stay “almost.”
—Written from the heart, on a small screen that grew into a big story.
