Small note; please stop asking me to finish the book. I know there's the chance that you've been around for more than a year, so I definitely understand the impatience, but PLEASE, I'm doing my best, k? I also have a life, and am already struggling keeping up with the deadlines.

Anyways, enjoy this chapter<3

"Dove, can't we do something better?" Hyunjin asked with a sigh, but despite his reluctance he still let his husband drag him along by his hand.

"What's better than the beach?" Felix said, and his smile was so incredibly bright that Hyunjin immediately forced himself to shut up. For his little Dove he'd do anything.

They reached the shore, and Felix immediately took his shirt off. And he was about to run straight into the bright blue sea if it weren't for Hyunjin standing frozen in place.

"You go on without me." He said in response to Felix's questioning look. "I'll be with you in no time."
But his husband wasn't convinced. "Jinnie, what's wrong?"

"Nothing!" Hyunjin said, trying to relax his stiff body. A salty breeze hit his face, and he tried not to flinch.

Felix didn't buy it. "Can't you swim?" He asked carefully.

"No! No, it's not-" Hyunjin cut himself off, realising he just wasted a perfectly fine excuse for why he didn't want to swim.

His husband carefully stepped over to him. "Jinnie, we won't go too deep in the water, I promise." Felix said.

Although Hyunjin was relieved that the other didn't ask any more questions, he really didn't want to go in the water.

"Go without me, please?"

Felix's face dropped slightly, an upsetting sight, but he nodded. His husband let go of his hand and then turned to walk in the sea.

Hyunjin watched him go into the water, and despite not having any plans on swimming, also took off his shirt. He was now also left in nothing but his shorts.

Hyunjin was placing the towels they had taken with them on the sand, when suddenly he heard a scream.

He turned to the sound in a flash, and when heard another scream, this time his name, he bolted to the water.

He couldn't see Felix. He didn't know how deep in the water he was, he didn't even know if he had already drowned.

Without any hesitation he ran straight into the water, to the place he had last seen his husband.

By the time he was in the water at waist-height, he began to panic for real. And the panic he felt wasn't because old memories were threatening to drown him.

"Felix!" He yelled.

A loud plash from behind him almost startled the life out of him. He was about to turn around when he heard a loud 'wah!' and someone jumped on his back.

He landed face-first in the water.

When he got back on his feet again he grabbed the person that had jumped him by the arm and dragged him back to the surface.

Felix was smiling broadly at him. As if what he had done had been funny.

"Changed your mind?" His husband laughed at him. And for once, for the first time in their entire life together, Felix's smile wasn't enough to calm him down.

Hyunjin roughly pushed Felix away from him. What a wicked way to trick him into getting in the water.

"Jinnie?"
