believe…!” I was suddenly interrupted by the door opening downstairs

and a familiar voice shouting “We’re home!!” I looked back from the

door to Rosie to see Mikey had sneaked past me with her. I was going

to kill her… Again. Walking downstairs I started to hear a faint sound

of rustling bags and little whispers. I walked into the kitchen

watching them all but someone was missing. Gerard. Where had he gone

off to? My answer was soon shown as I felt warm soft arms wrap

themselves around my small waist. Looking up quickly I saw a familiar

smirk on his face draw closer and to my ear “did you miss me?” He

gently whispered in my ear. I felt a cold shiver run down my spine but

soon brushed it off and shrugged him off my shoulders.  He is not

going to make me fall in love for him, I know that’s what he’s aiming

for. Well, I think that’s what he’s aiming for.  I walked and sat down

at the bar stools in around the table. With some luck I would be able

to get Mikey to not love Rosie anymore, and then we would be safe. I

can’t control Rosie though; my power only works with mortals.

I looked up to see all of the shopping put away with only a few things

left out. “How about a nice fry up, eh?” Ray asked us all. Everyone

nodded except Frank and Rosie. I knew why Rosie didn’t want one; she

was a vegetarian when it comes to normal food. “Can we at least have

some veggie’ stuff in this time please! I hate meat” Frank requested a

little puppy dog face creeping its way onto his face slowly. Ray and

Mikey exchanged a look before nodding and sighing.

“Fine! But you’re cooking the gross things. It should be illegal to

have food that mock meat. Gross!” Mikey frowned grabbing a few

sausages and putting them under the grill. As they went down Ray

grabbed some bacon before melting up some butter in a frying pan.  I

wondered where Frank got off to while looking around only to find him

on another cooker on the other side of the room. He was putting some

vegetarian sausages under the grill and some other pieces of foods

with Rosie. I had to admit that vegetarian food wasn’t that bad… If

you close your eyes. Watching her closer I saw her sneakily looking

back at Mikey every once in a while for him to glance at her back and

smile gently. They can’t have fallen for each other already, it’s too

quick. Unless she’s falling for him, which means I need to kill that

weed of love before it grows fully. “Does anyone want a coffee? Tea?”

I asked gently.

“Ewww Tea!” Frank, Gerard and Mikey said in unison. I turned to them

quickly surprised at how they all said it in unison, that wasn’t even

what surprised me the most. It was the fact that they were not

bothered by the fact, no shocked faces, no questioning it. Nothing.

“Coffee then?” I asked slowly still a little creeped out by what had

happened. The all said yes just thankfully not in unison this time. As

I made the coffee I looked around trying to get a feel of what

everyone was doing. Rosie and Mikey were still looking at each other

just a bit more obviously now. I will break them up, whatever they

have will be destroyed. I may sound cruel and evil but I’m looking out

for her. We are getting tracked each day all the time. We can’t get

distracted by love, or it might cost us a dusting.
