NT Re-Runner - Looping 20 - Intro and Coda

"Heh heh. Hey Garland. Just wanted to brace you for what I'm gonna send to your inbox!" It was Shedu on the other end of the line, and of course it was Shedu's name that caught Lajoi's attention.

"Who's this?" Lajoi asked.

"Huh? Who's this?" Shedu asked.

"This is Garland's Mother." There was a notable silence on the other end. She took a look at the inbox during the silence. It was a video of a very... unique girl fucking Mithra. She knew that Mithra was Garland's co-wife in his new, happy orc marriage. She hadn't brought it up because she was so proud of Garland for finding a messed-up relationship, and she had already given her blessing to it, as well as the sex change. But, seeing the video of the cybernetic fox gave Lajoi pause. She walked to the bathroom door and knocked.
"Garland, are you into being cucked?"

"Uh, no? Why?" He responded through the door. The water was running.

"G-gotta go!" Shedu finally said on the other side of the line, hanging up.

Lajoi walked calmly over to a console on the counter in the kitchen and dropped the comm on the screen. She began loosening up as a melodic voice said 'scanning.'
"Trace the last call and analyse the last received picture for a floor plan." The compute confirmed the request and someone else came through on the line. It was a female voice with a soothing tone.

"What's wrong, little Joi?"

"It's a Fox, Grandma. There's a Fox I don't know about messing with my son..." Lajoi said gravely.
"Which means-"

"The chief of security has found the location and is being sent over. Scans show that she... isn't one of theirs. At the same time, she doesn't match any of ours on record. Isn't that unique?"

"I- I don't know. I'm not involved in that side of things, I just thought-"

"You throught right. Me and your Grandfather are coming to pick you up."

"You and Gay Gay?" Lajoi asked, shocked to see the two of them coming over for something like that, along with the Chief of Security. Finally, Raithe responded.

"Please don't call him that?"

"But... Gay Gay told us to-"

"Joi..."

"Yes! Sorry, Ma'am!" The other line hung up. Lajoi shivered. She went to check on Garland by walking into the bathroom. Asra was at the sink, washing his face. The man was wearing nothing but a towel and seemed tired. Garland was asleep in the standup shower. She hugged Asra from the side and kissed him on the cheek.
"How's he doing?"

"Completely exhausted. I assume he'll be out for... probably a day or two?"

"Sorry, I know things got... A bit out of hand."

Asra smiled awkwardly. "I... know that this is a kind of bonding? Your family is just a lot different from mine, and I've come to accept that."

"Speaking of Family, the heads are coming. Also, the chief of security."

"Here!?" His face when white.
"B-but we just had like... 4 racers fucking in our livingroom for three days!"

"I know." Lajoi cringed.
"Gay Gay's gonna think I'm such a lightweight."

"Eh?"

They waited patiently on their couch. Both had gotten dressed up again in their usual attire. They did not have to wait long as a sound came through behind them. They turned and saw a very tall, very pale woman with platinum blonde hair and deep red eyes. She was adorned with the top of the line cybernetic implants and arms and legs. Teuta, the Chief of Security for Fennek was an ancient woman that seemed to be more machine than alive. She looked at them through intensely focused eyes, dragging a squirming bag in one hand. As she rounded the couch and dropped the back on the table with a thud, she crossed her hands behind her back and stepped back as the front door opened on its own.
