"What are you up to?" He asked.

"Nothing, just a little surprise just for you."

"Does it have to do with Candace and Natalie?" He asked.

"You could say that." Then my dream ended, and I felt scared for the first time of Brooke.

I woke up feeling way better and stronger. My shoulder only hurt a little bit, and then I remembered Nat cast the healing spell. I flexed my shoulder and it only hurt a little more. Nat was sleeping in the chair and her wand was thankfully tucked away. Apparently the heal spell worked, but it took a lot of energy to do.

Gloria came running in. "Darling it's a miracle! It can't be real! Your shoulder healed way faster than an average person, in fact any person! You got your wish, you get to leave today, in a couple of hours. I think you have some healing magic in you or something." If only she knew.

"How may days have I been here?"

"This is your fourth day. Your arm just has to go into a sling and we'll give you some painkillers that you can use if the pain is increasing. You'll get an x-ray done first, and then you'll get a sling. You and your friend can go. This shouldn't even be possible! You have a strong body."

"I must."

"This can't be happening! You shouldn't be able to move your shoulder only a day after surgery! I can't believe it. Should I wake your friend up?"

"Let her sleep, I think she's been awake for awhile watching me." I said, which was true, because Nat hadn't slept like she should've been lately.

So I went into the x-ray room and got my x-rays done. I saw pictures and my bone was only a little split from the knives. I had screws and plates in my shoulder, but they could've taken them out. They didn't, because they didn't want to make my arm worse. I'd have to get them removed later. Nat sure was great at healing! They put my arm in a sling and away Nat and I went. Nat was also feeling stronger after her long nap.

"Nat when we get there we have to just run straight to the pyramid, put everyone to sleep, and make them forget. Then you open the pyramid. "

"Okay, you going to do the forgetting and sleeping?"

"Yep just like last time. How did you get out of the pyramid?" I asked.

"I walked to the entrance/exit, and touched it. It opened and away we went."

"Did anyone notice?" I asked.

"No, someone walked right by me and didn't notice." Nat said. She seemed to be thinking about it.

"Then let's just touch it again and hope it opens."

"We could, but if Brooke and Brent were around and they noticed, then what?"

"The other way would be even more obvious. You resisted my spell when I did it last time. They would notice everyone sleeping and then know we were there."

"Right, okay let's do it. We got to get a little ways into the maze thing first and then let Maddie down just in case they try to open it."

"Do you know exactly how to get there?" I asked.

"Yep." Nat said. "I know which tunnel to go into and then I know where to turn and enter the tomb."

"Good, we'll go as quickly as possible."

"Can you take your backpack? I'll take Maddie and my backpack, but I can take yours too."

"Yeah, I can carry it. I'll just put it on the other shoulder."

"Good." We soon got to the pyramids, payed the taxi, and ran as fast as we could. We quickly got to the pyramid. I turned to look for Brooke and Brent, while Nat touched the pyramid. It opened and we ran inside. She took us down a tunnel for a bit and after a couple of minutes, we put Maddie down so she could be a pig again.

"We can walk now, Candace." I was puffing, and my shoulder was hurting pretty badly again. "Need a pain killer?" Nat asked.

"No, I don't want to fall asleep. It'll be better soon. Just running didn't help."

"Are you sure?" I nodded so we kept going. Within five minutes, we arrived at Khufu's tomb. It was beautiful, and had many pieces of gold and jewelery in it. It had so many gems, I'd never seen so many in my life. The whole tomb was made of red granite which was really cool. We stood in awe for a couple of minutes.

"Nat, the thing." I said.

"Right, the thing." We both snapped out of it and walked over to a pile of golden coins. "Here." Nat said.

"Definitely here." I agreed. Then we saw it. IT wasn't what I was expecting, especially in such a beautiful tomb. The object was sitting right on top of the pile of gold. It was da dada daaa, a Pharaoh head, the size of a golf ball. It was shining and waiting to be grabbed. I ran over and snatched it up, just in case some ghost, or sorcerer showed up and took it.

Luckily no one came. "What is it?" I asked.

"I don't know, a clue maybe?"

"Maybe, oquen." Open, I said. Suddenly it clicked open and we saw a very old parchment. It showed a picture of a lion body and a Pharaoh head. "Nat, we need to go to the Sphinx."

"Awesome! Should we keep the Pharaoh head?"

"Yeah, I think we're going to need it for later, and if not I'd say it's a pretty cool souvenir."

"It sure is! It looks like it's made of gold."

"It probably is, if you look at all the riches in here. Now let's go."

"What do we do when we get to the Sphinx?" Nat asked.

"Let's climb it, I have a feeling we need to get to the top."

"What about your shoulder?"

"I'll be fine." I shook off any extra worries.

So off we went. Then we heard voices.

"Brent, they're here and we know it." It was Brooke and Brent, and we were stuck with them in the pyramid. They had caught us and were waiting for us."
