Darrel knocks on my door at 6:57 am. "You got to get up! Your court session starts at 10 and we're going to Albany New York. So we need to leave by 8 am." I open my eyes and scold at him even though he can't see me through the door. "What should I wear? I have nothing!"

Darrel sighs loudly. "Just take something from Casey's closet. She has too many clothes."

He was right. Her closets and dresser drawers are jammed with clothes. I wonder how many things she took to college!

I button up a red flannel shirt and skinny jeans. That should look okay. I brush my hair and don't put any makeup on. Im sick of pretending to look like I wake up with makeup.

Darrel knocks on the bedroom door again,
"Breakfast is whatever you can find!" And he rushes downstairs. I follow lackingly behind.

"I'm not hungry, lets just go already." Darrel pats my shoulder and guides me all the way through the house. All the way into the car.

Before I know it we're on our way. The small stuffy car fills immediately with cold silence.

"Thank you for everything." I mutter under my breath. "No problem kid, I just wanted to help you." I feel like Casey's fill in. Just a replacement.

We pass by familiar houses with old stories. Jacob's house makes my heart sting and makes my stomach remember what it feels like to carry a baby. Maybe touching the window will help me feel his pain too. But I don't dare. My pain is already killing me.

At least 2 hours pass by. 2 spicy chicken sandwiches are eaten and goodbyes are said.

It's time, it's time to go into the courtroom. When I walk in the first thing I see is the lady from the principals room! The only difference is she has curly hair with a slinky red dress. She's pouring herself over the judge, I suspect she does this all the time to influence him.

Darrel sits a row behind where I sits. Everyone looks so fancy and elegant. I look like a bum off the street that just took a shower.

The second I sit down the woman stunningly stares at me. The judge gasps as she whispers rumors into his ear.

"Attention! The Process will start now. Lilliana Rayabella Thomas please tell us your story."

The memories roam in my mind. My scratchy voice makes a dull appearance. "It all started when I......." My voice goes red, do Ashleigh's parents know she was pregnant? I'll have to make up a believable lie. To protect my friend.

"Proceed Lilliana." I pant and Proceed. " When I found out Ashleigh Pinnalo didn't like Gracie Pinnalo..... I wanted to get her out of the house. So around 11:00 pm I woke her up. And I told her we should leave. She agreed and took Cody and Rico Pinnalo." A silent hush comes across the room and that lady from the principal's room works her magic on the judge.

"Lilliana I am the judge's assistant, Harper. If I may ask you, what was your intention of taking these kids away from there family? As you probably know Ashleigh Pinnalo is still missing." She is?! What?! I have to find her. I have to make a coverup. "She told me about this Hatred for her stepmother, and how she took her mother's spot. Ashleigh really wanted to leave." Question after question I make up believable lies. Protecting anyone from knowing Ashleigh's pregnant.

A 15 minute break finally comes up. "Good job Lilliana!" And Darrel pats me on the back. "Do you want anything to eat? I could run out for something." Seeing as how he's a little chubby I'm guessing that's what he says to everyone. Or at least Casey, Whenever she's upset.

"No, I'm just want to call somebody." And since my phone got taken away when I went into the hospital the first time I don't have one. No one could pay the bill.

Anyways Darrel hands me his phone and tells me to take as long as I need, he can stall.

Jacobs number is programmed into my head like a song. Ringing fills my nervous ears. Will he answer?

"Hey." His voice is as sweet as honey. Honey that melts in my mouth. "Hey," I know he knows it's me. He knows which one I am out of a crowd of clones. "Where are you Lil?"

He wants to come and save me. He wants to come and show me he hasn't forgotten about me, I'm still his one and only love.

The only reason I'll let him is because I'm desperate. Desperate for any love, " I'm at the Robin courthouse in Albany New York."
