She stepped into the house she never wanted to return to in her life. That beautiful lawn full of flowers seemed so golden and quiet to her.

"Listen, where is she?" she asked the flowers silently. They remained completely silent in response. She walked slowly inside the house.

"First, look at the whole house. You will be amazed. I have decorated it so well." A voice has emerged right next to her. She looked to her right and left in surprise, there was no one there.

She was looking around the house. Everything was the same there. There was no change anywhere. Everything was in its place. The presence of the same person on her mind.

Every single thing was still there. But still, everything was not the same there. There was one thing. A huge lack. The biggest lack. She shuffled her feet and came out of the lounge and into the dining room, when a voice came from the lounge behind her.

"Sometimes I feel scared. Afraid of losing love. Afraid of being taken away from it. I don't know why love is so illusory." She heard that voice again. She turned and looked at the sofa in the lounge.

"She is just pretending to be angry infront of us. She must be so happy on the inside that the man who has so many girls behind him is behind her."

She looked at the empty sofa with hurt eyes. That being was missing from her special place today. A pang rose in her heart. She immediately left the drawing room.

Her steps had automatically risen towards the kitchen, looking ahead.

"You yourself are rude, then you pretend to be the victim and even stand there crying. Many things in life make us feel bad. But it is not at all appropriate to react like this to something bad. I was very sad about your behavior yesterday."

The voice in her head again. Yet the owner of the voice was missing from her place. The place that only belongs to her.

She was staring at the same place silently. Today there was no one there to tell her.

"No, Baba, I am not angry with you. How long will you keep this crying face?" That gentle and loving voice spoke to her.

Her heart prayed desperately that she would come from somewhere. All of a sudden. She would just come and surprise her. She closed her eyes tightly. Then she opened them again. Her prayer was not accepted. There was no one there. She wanted to cry.

She tried, but no tears were coming out of her eyes. She wanted to cry, she wanted to cry so hard and scream, but the tears that had been frozen inside her eyes for years refused to come out again.

Shraddha Kapoor as Saba Shafeeq

She is a contradiction between light and ache- vibrant on the outside, deeply fragile on the inside. She feels emotions with her whole being — whether it’s love, jealousy, or grief, she experiences it fully and visibly. She thrives in affection and familiarity. Her love for Irtaza is unwavering, almost devotional, even when it becomes a source of pain.

Saba’s entire vibe is that of someone who looks like she belongs in a summer afternoon full of laughter, but carries the weight of a thousand untold midnights in her heart.

Sidharth Malhotra as Irtaza Guzanfar

Irtaza is the calm center in a storm. Dependable, grounded, and quietly magnetic. His presence is steady enough to anchor others, yet his choices sometimes might unknowingly create emotional ripples around him. Nonetheless, he has a natural instinct to look out for people he loves, especially Saba. He lives by a strong moral compass and values family loyalty above all else. Not the loud, dominating type; his charm lies in his thoughtfulness.

Irtaza's presence is of someone who walks into a room and instantly makes it feel calmer. His look isn’t meant to turn heads in a dramatic way, but to feel timeless, warm, and quietly strong.

Kiara Advani as Saman Shafeeq

Saman is gentle and self assured, a quiet contrast to Saba's impulsive warmth. She has a naturally caring streak, often by putting others before herself. She handles relationships and situations with thoughtfulness. She doesn't like to be loud or overtly expressive, but her warmth is felt in small gestures. Be it the most difficult challenge, she handles it with calm dignity.

Saman is like a calm spring morning or a still lake -- calm on the surface, holding much depth beneath.
