(The falling object from earlier lands in the Warner Bros. studio lot and the object turns out to be a small blue creature the size of a racket ball covered in warts and an antennae. It looks around and heads off. The dark night sky fades to day and the camera turns to the Warner Bros. water tower.)
Dot: The tea party is almost ready. We just need one more plate for Mr. Snuggly.
(Camera cuts to the living room as the Warner sisters Dot and Lot are seated around a table with two plates and three teacups. And a teddy bear sits near them.)
Lot: Hmm. It's perfect. But we need a centerpiece. I know exactly where to find one.
Dot: Where?
Lot: (points at the bookshelf behind her) Up there.
(Dot looks up at the shelf and sees on the top shelf a valuable diamond coated vase, where flowers are placed in.)
Dot: (nervously) Um, i don't know Lot. That looks like a special vase.
Lot: It is, Dot. It's Yakko's very special vase. He said he bought it at a yard sale last week, That'll it make a great centerpiece in the water tower. And it was the only vase made by his favorite artist Lucy Liu.
Dot: Um... That's nice, Lot, but maybe we should go to find a centerpiece that isn't valuable.
Lot: Mr. Snuggly is a very special bear, he deserves to have a special centerpiece. I'm sure Yakko won't mind as long if we're careful with it.
(Lot begins to climb the shelf as Dot watches nervously. Her foot slips and Lot nearly fell, as she grabs onto the shelf to break her fall. Lot tries to reach for the vase, which causes the shelf to tilt a bit making it to fall off the top shelf, luckily Lot grabs the vase as she lets out a relieved sigh. Lot's about to climb down when the vase slips out of her hand. It falls to the floor and breaks into many pieces, while also making a mess from the flowers. Dot and Lot look at the remains of the vase in shock.)
Dot: I gotta go. *leaves*
(Lot jumps down from the shelf and kneels down at the vase. Suddenly, she hears a voice.)
Fib: Psst! Hey you! Looks like you've got a problem.
Lot: Huh? Who said that? Who's there?
(The voice seems to be coming from Mr. Snuggly.)
Fib: If you're interested, I think I can help.
Lot: (surprised) Mr. Snuggly? You can talk?
Fib: Well, I've never been called Mr. Snuggly before, (turns out to be the little blue creature from earlier) but of course I can talk. Actually, my name is Fibrillious Minimus. But you can call me Fib!
Lot: Um... Hello. My name's Lot. You must be new around here.
Fib: You can say that but more importantly, I'm here to help you out. I couldn't help but notice, you broke the vase.
Lot: Yep. I did.
Fib: Well, I imagine your brother's not gonna be happy about it!
Lot: No he's not.
Fib: Now listen closely, what you need is a story.
Lot: You mean like a bedtime story?
Fib: No, no, no, no! Now try to keep up here! You need to make up a story about somebody else breaking the vase.
Lot: (shocked) You mean you want me to lie?!
Fib: No, no, no, not a lie! It's just a little fib. Everybody does it all the time! Trust me, a little fib can make you free from your troubles.
(Suddenly, the door opens.)
Yakko: I'm home!
Lot: (shocked) Oh no!
(The door closes.)
Fib: Now it's up to you, kid! (hops behind a bookshelf) Break a leg!
(Lot looks up nervously, then sits in front of the broken vase, hoping her brother won't see it. Just then, Yakko comes in.)
Yakko: Hi, Lot. Did you have a good day? *suddenly, he notices the broken vase on the floor. then looks at and at the place it fell to confirm it's the same one.* My vase! That was my favorite vase made by Lucy Liu! What happened to it?!
(Lot looks at Fib, who tells her to pay attention.)
Fib: *whispers* Lot, pay attention.
Lot: *turns back to her brother.* Well.... (Music begins to play and Lot starts to sing.) 🎶It's Dot's fault. She broke the vase, I tried to stop her.🎶
(The Fib gets surprisingly happy and starts grinning.)
Lot: *singing* 🎶She said she had to demonstrate her brand new mallet.🎶 Her new mallet worked just great but just smashed up your special vase.🎶 🎶It's Dot's fault, she broke the vase, it's true and that's the tale I have tell to you.🎶
(Yakko gets surprised.)
Yakko: (surprised) Well I'll be! Thanks for telling me Lot. If that's what you say happened, well, I believe you! But I'm quite surprised at Dot. That's not like her. I'm going to have to a serious talk with her right away. *leaves to look for Dot.*
(After Yakko leaves, the Fib comes out of hiding and is now shown to be about the size of a basketball.)
Fib: You did it! Good work, kid!
Lot: Huh? Have you grown?
Fib: Oh, oh, no, no. I've always been this size, but you. You were magnificent!
Lot: I don't know. What about Dot?
Fib: Oh, she'll be fine. Remember, a little fib can make you free from your troubles. And besides, it's over, you're free!
Lot: *smiles* You're right. Yakko didn't get so mad when I told him what happened. I don't have to worry about that vase anymore. I'm free!
Fib: You betcha!
(Lot and her new friend exit the water tower.)
Lot: I feel great! You were right, Fib! A little fib can make you free from your troubles!
Fib: Ha-ha-ha! That's my girl! Come on, kid! Let's go have some more fun!
Lot: OK then! Wait for me, Fib! Ha-ha-ha-ha!
(They run away down the lot together.)
