Cursed Soul

Author's Note

Cursed Soul is a story that I wrote ten years ago now.

It's quietly existed in my mind and through different mediums. There's chapters written on paper, in notes apps, in google docs, in word documents I'll never recover. A story that has grown and evolved as I have, one that is almost endless.

I tried uploading it before during the werewolf story hype and when it was still possible for a nobody author to achieve overnight success on wattpad but it never felt good enough. Today, I realise it doesn't matter that it's good enough or how many people will read it.

It exists in my heart, in my google drive, in papers I'll never recover. Why not let a version of it exist somewhere else? Somewhere it can be preserved and hopefully somewhere where even one person can find a home in it the way I found homes in several different fantasy worlds on here.

My dream is to write, I think, to create. I'm not sure if I'm any good at it but I do like to do it, obsessively, painfully, through hell or highwater. I have learned how to write mostly by myself through living, through reading. 

Anyway, I'm putting this out here, simply because I can and why not? And I hope every young writer is brave enough to do that or even better. 

Dear reader, you must know this story is a mess. The tenses are imperfect, povs switch, some of it is intentional some of it isn't. This is as much Cara's journey as it is my writing one I thought it would be interesting to keep my voice from ten years ago untouched in some places and only minimally edit for coherency and congruency.
