He then takes a deep breath "but then I saw how you two were with Alex and I was jealous so I did the things that I did that had nothing to do with his plan and I realized all those people telling me that Kyle was toxic and abusing me were right and I realized who I was with him isn't who I am or want to be which is why i'm telling you all of this and coming clean" Jacob says. I look at Dylan and he looks at me and I can tell he isn't believing it and neither am I "and how do we know this isn't some sob story you put together to try and trick us?" I say "does a good boyfriend or caregiver sound like this to you?" he asks and pulls out his phone and lets a recording play. It was a voice mail and on it the guy was yelling and called him a brat multiple times and asked if he could do anything right and said when he sees him next and gets his hand on him he is in trouble. He played two more after that just to get his point across. You could hear the anger and disgust in his voice like he wanted nothing to do with him but was using him to get what he wants. "That's how he talks to me most of the time except for when he has to act nice so I wouldn't leave, again I thought that's how love was until I realized it wasn't" Jacob says "he's telling the truth, I can see it all over him he's not lying" Danny says "if that's the case what does this Kyle guy want?" Colton asks "he wants to be the best and on top but he can't be because you guys are on top" Jacob says "for your work I mean" he continues after taking a quick glance at Toby. So he wants to be the best gang, that's what all this is about.

He's power hungry and we are in his way, "what's his last name?" I ask "Redford" Jacob says and things are falling into place "of course, he's never been able to surpass us. We've been at odds with him and his gang ever since we became in charge" Dylan says "his dad wasn't that bad, it's once he took over things went downhill" my dad says. He took over his dads gang about a year before my dad handed his down to me, "what else have you done when no one was here?" Dylan asks "honestly nothing, I had been staying in the guest room thinking. That's why he called me a bunch of times to yell at me because I wasn't doing what he wanted, which was to get information and snoop" Jacob says "I had to come up with my realizations somehow so I spent the week thinking about it" he continued. I look at Danny and he nods so I guess that means he is telling the truth "I didn't know he was going to drug the two of you, he has done it before but it wasn't part of the plan that he had told me" Jacob says I almost forgot that he said he was outside the door and heard some of what we said. But if he didn't tell Jacob he was going to drug us then that means he might have a separate plan he didn't tell Jacob about meaning we have no idea what all he is doing or planning. "Wait, does that mean you know who was messing with the systems trying to get information?" Danny asks "I know who it could have potentially been but I don't know who for sure it was" Jacob says "but if it was multiple people doing it and not just one then I have a pretty good idea on who it was" he continued.

As important as it is to get all this information is I would much rather be going to see our baby right now, "this discussion isn't over but right now lets go see Alex" I say and Dylan nods agreeing "Danny you take Jacob with you, I don't want him in our house alone and your the only one who can tell for sure if he is lying or telling the truth" I say and Danny nods "ok" he says. All of us who were sitting then get up to get ready to leave but stop when someone talks "what about when we get there? Alex isn't going to want to see me or want me near him which I can't blame him for that and he has every reason to feel that way" Jacob says. I guess I didn't think about that part "i'll stay outside with him for a little bit and then someone can switch with me so then I can go see him" Danny says "that'll work" Dylan says. "Blake Dylan" Toby says "yeah?" Dylan asks "don't get your hopes up that he will automatically forgive both of you" he says "I'm not saying he won't forgive you eventually but he's going to need time to process everything before he forgives you and that could take some time" he continued. I know he's right and honestly I don't even know what we are going to say, I mean how do we go about saying we were drugged at work while not telling him what it is we do for work. I don't want to lie to him because it will just make it worse but if we tell him the truth about what we do it could get him hurt or put him in danger although he already was targeted and didn't know what we do for work. Although from what Jacob said he wasn't supposed to have done that and he did that for himself but I still don't really believe anything he says. Plus that doesn't change the fact Alex was used as part of Kyle's plan to know more about us.
