Bundle Madness Drabble Part 17 (A Part 6)

"It was them!"

"Or wherever that was pretending to be. Did you even take their mask off?" Lilith not going to believe that cold angel was like their ex-husband. Personalities to different.

He grumbles as he crossed his arms. Not looking at her. "No."

Was he wrong?

No, it had to be his Adam. He could feel it. He was sure of it when he left the castle and watch the Extermination in open. Blend in with the fools of sinners. The Observer watch but left their place. He follows thinking it was them stopping another Exterminator that was getting out of line. Instead held a sinner by the neck against the wall. Two cowering hellhounds. The mother was holding their pup and said the name Cain.

Honestly, it didn't click for Lucifer until after what happen next. He practically forgot the name. A little cruel as Cain may or may not have been his child when he slept with Eve. It's not like he was close to the child so didn't have reaction to it. Hell, he was even on the lookout for the first murderer to die and come to Hell. That was never the case and just gave up the little side quest. Such a name of weight to others would have been just another name.

The Observer on the other hand it was different for them. Rip the sinner head off when he tries to tell them to kill the Hellhounds instead.

It was brutal.

It wasn't said the Observer wasn't allowed to Exterminate. Main reason to watch.

The Observer kick the door down and made the two hellhounds go inside to hide.

It clicks to Lucifer at that point. This theory in his head on who it could be. How the name could be a trigger for Adam still even after all those years. Now not sure after what Lilith said. Maybe it was one of Adam descendants who was around the time and close with the pair. Could have just been tricking him, pretend and dare be Adam.

"Then unless I see their face. I can't accept this answer. Could it be possible? Maybe. But it could be anyone. It could be someone in your family and just messing with you." Lilith turn away. Didn't catch the disgusted, embarrassed look on his face. "Now can you stop throwing stuff around. We have guest coming over and gave the staff extra work."

"Who coming over again?"

"The others sin."

"Right, I remember now." No, he doesn't. he probably did at one point but slipped his mind. Focus on his projects. "I'll go freshen up and you still keep looking marvelous."

"I don't have to try to do that." Let out a laugh as she walks away.

Lucifer watches with a dreamy look but his hand twitch. Mind drifted off from that meeting. That cold, tone that would turn to confusion. The way they flinch when avoiding contact. Still, there was something off about that angel. Could they be close to falling? Or was that his mind playing on how they kill the sinner?

His head was hurting too much. Rather not get a headache when he about to have a meal with those six. Will not speak about what happen to them. Along with not mention it in the future around Lilith but a part of him will still find out.

He doesn't want to be proven wrong.

((What if Adam/Error is the Extermination leader but only select few know he is the leader. Not in Hell just Heaven. Any who many years back later during one Extermination Adam is going to have talk with not just Lute but Vaggie as well on what happen. Not please at all what either side did.

Adam swears sometimes should have just decline to say no to this position. After all sure got the highest number of kills that actually stay dead. Even besides that mix with when they died to go to war against Hell. Well, they will beat you to that with that many worlds they had to destroy as Error for the good of a 'balance'.
