My eyes are wide open, my face slowly flushing. He leans closer and I move my legs more into the bed to get more comfortable almost unconsciously. "W-What are you doing?" His smirk widens and I can see his face getting closer, causing my heart to unexpectedly start racing. "What do you think?" I'm really fighting back the urge to kiss him. But I manage to and I look away. "Get off me, we have to do our homework..." He chuckles but slowly pulls away, actually making me slightly disappointed. "Fine fine. I was just messing around." He sits back on the bed beside me, allowing me to do the same. "I think you're just a horny and perverteded man." He laughs while taking a notebook and two pencils. "Maybe I am. But I am your horny perverted man." I can't hide a small smile forming on my face despite what just went through my mind just a few seconds ago when he got on top of me. We do our homework until 4PM, actually finishing quite early (thanks to me). "Finally! That was the last one." He says as he already puts away the notebook and pencils. "Mhm. Should we go somewhere?" He sits back beside me before laying his head on my lap, making me blush slightly although I don't mind it. "Hmm... Wanna go eat some ice cream?" "He suggests looking up at me. "Sure. Sounds good." He gets up from my lap and we both stand up and walk out of the house. I can't help but just think about something. What the hell are we? I mean, he isn't my boyfriend. But he's not just a friend, either. The walk towards the ice cream shop is quite silent but being close to him and spending some time together is enough for me. We arrive and get two ice creams. Mine's a simple cookies and cream and when I look at him I see that he's got a huge ice cream with three flours. "Damn, how much did you pay for... That?" I ask while taking a look at his ice cream. I can see mint, chocolate and strawberry. What kind of combination is that...?! "Heh, don't worry about that. The important thing is that it's good." He says proudly, already knowing that ice cream probably costs a lot before he licked it once. "This ice cream shop never disappoints me." I look at him slightly confused but smile slightly before starting to eat mine. We're standing outside of the shop, when I recognize someone in the small shop's crowd. It's Ivan, probably my only friend in the school. Noah sees me distracted and looks over the crowd, too, noticing Ivan. He probably knows him because he's in our school but doesn't know that we're friends. "Do you know him?" He suddenly asks. "Yeah, he's pratically my only friend." I say without looking at him before waving at Ivan once he turns. He notices me and walks towards me, probably unaware about Noah's presence. "Hey Leo! What are you doing h-" He stops in front of me and looks at Noah. "Why are you with this asshole?" I don't notice that Noah is already glaring at Ivan and I forget that Ivan knew that Noah bullied me for four years. I sometimes vented to him but didn't really open up. I don't really do that with anyone. "Who the fuck are you calling asshole?" Noah asks annoyed before I step between them and turn to Ivan. "Oh, uhm, can you call me in a few hours? I don't want you two to start a fight so I think we'll leave now." Ivan looks at me surprised and almost offended. It's not like I can blame him. But I don't want to discard him now that I found someone else to talk to, either. "Fine. But if this fucker tries anything don't hesitate to call me." I quickly nod, feeling Noah almost staring into his soul from behind me. "A-Ah, of course. See you." He turns and leaves, leaving us alone in the street again. I take a deep breath and turn back to Noah. "Don't mind him. He's just a little over-protective." But he doesn't seem convinced. I don't want to tell him I talked shit about him with Ivan. I mean, it was when he bullied me, but I don't want to get in the topic. "What was he so mad about? Are you two just friends?" I never thought I would see someone like Noah being jealous over something this stupid. "We are. But I should go home now." I say, not answering his other question. But he just sighs and nods. "Alright alright. Can I get a kiss before you go, though?" I chuckle but this time I don't refuse and move closer to him instead, pressing a gentle and quick kiss on his cheek. "There." I pull away, a satisfied smile on his face. "I was expecting something more... But I'm not complaining either." I smile too. "Well then, I'll get going. Thanks again. See you tomorrow, Noah." I can tell there's something he's hiding by his tone, maybe jealousy from earlier or something completely different. "See you tomorrow." His smile is the one that you wouldn't expect from someone like him, but I'm happy he's changed. That said, I turn on my heels and start walking away towards my house.
