Chapter-1

Chengyu stood in the sidelines with his "ex" best friend who had his arms around another man he had been pursuing for so long with that all too arrogant smirk that made him want to punch his handsome face until it was completely crushed and too painful to even look at. However he just could not bring himself to do so. Not after everything they had. Everything they shared. As they passed by Chi Cheng turned around, eyebrows raised and a cold yet cocky look. Chengyu scoffed trying to gather all his remaining patience.

Sitting in front of the pictures of Chi Cheng and him... Chengyu felt a strange sensation in his chest. At that moment he wished that Chi Cheng would give him a chance to explain what really happened in that night. That he would never do it to him... Never in this lifetime will he be capable of hurting Chi Cheng... No matter how much he wanted to.

"Young Master... Young Master" Chi Cheng heard his assistant yell making him groan irritably. The petite young man from last night laying beside him looked like he went through hell. Chi Cheng tsked. He was rough in bed. This man was sobbing and writhing from pain. Chi Cheng had sadistic tendencies. But not all of the people could handle it"Our snakes... Our snakes have gone missing" and that was more than enough for Chi Cheng to jerk straight up all sleepiness long gone. "WHAT?!" he exclaimed and the tense man nodded. Chi Cheng clenched his jaw already planning to murder the person behind it. Those snakes were valuable to him. Cause to him.. More than his own family those creatures have been there for him. As the black sheep of the family he only felt safe and peaceful with those creatures that couldn't speak.

Chi Cheng sat in front of his parents legs crossed and posture relaxed his "little jealous" wrapped around his wrist. His mother and father looked at him and the creature, face twisted into a scorn. "Chi Cheng keep that thing away for a moment" his mother said making him look back to her with a cold look in his eyes. She gulped shifting around feeling uncomfortable. "I had your snakes shipped off to where they are safe" his father said completely unfazed. And that's when Chi Cheng stopped the non chalant look dropped a flash of rage passing through his sharp features. If it had been anyone else he would have been six feet under. But this was his father. No matter what."Go to work in our company, do whatever I say and you will have them back no doubt" his father said in a cold tone and Chi Cheng clenched his jaw. "Fine.. But if something happens to them" he said voice trailing off with warning before he stood up and left.

Chengyu sat with Chi Cheng watching two off the snakes fight each other twisting around each other. "You lost your snakes" Chengyu said making Chi Cheng stiffen in tension before he slowly turned his head toward Chengyu who had a smug look on his face. Chi Cheng roughly grabbed his neck choking but Chengyu did not let the smirk drop from his face. "That. Is. None. Of. Your. Business." he gritted out. Chengyu leaned closer "Come on we're best friends after all" he said smugly making Chi Cheng grit his teeth. "WE'RE NOT FRIENDS ANY LONGER" he yelled making the smirk on Chengyu's face widen. The grip around his neck tightened and he was pinned to the couch. Chi Cheng's assistant and Chengyu's assistant pulled him away from Chengyu whose skin had reddened slightly from the force showing just how much strength Chi Cheng had put in. Before it could get any worse Chi Cheng was dragged away from the club. Chengyu smirk dropped and if you look closely enough the smug man seemed to be pained for a slight second. His facade cracked. He wasn't as non chalant as he showed himself to be. He took a long drag of the cigarette releasing the smoke downing the drink. The music in the background seemed to go mute and he shut his eyes throwing his head back
