What Happens When we Leave?

I've always wondered this.  I know that, unless humans figure out how to bring back the dead, become immortal, or do both, humans, like any other animals, will die.  I'm hoping to live to be one hundred, but I still no I'll die one day.  But what happens afterwards?

Scientists, Biologists, and non-believers of life after death can be harsh.  Many believe that after you die, your brain just stops working, and your personality, your individual self, blips out of existence, leaving only a dead body...........................  WELL THAT'S DEPRESSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For all my life, I have trusted science on a lot of things.  But for all my life, I have believed there could be a God, or gods, and angels, and heaven, and life after death.  Somehow, maybe heaven, and spirits are scientifically possible.  I will always believe this, no matter what anyone tells me.

So, what's my definition of heaven?  I think that, when anyone, if heaven is real, goes to heaven, gets to think of anything, and it happens, like an infinitely long dream.  I would make it rain stuffed cheese breadsticks and popcorn chicken all day!!!  But then, if you can dream of people, doesn't that mean it could be impossible to tell who the real people are?  Ahhh, just confused myself again.

So, what if I die, but I become a ghost, forever stuck on Earth, or maybe I live in another dimension or universe, and I can come to Earth?  I'd probably help stop disasters, or warn people of them at least.  I would also look for more books to read, and more movies to watch.  Maybe I could talk to people through phones, or still have internet accounts if people are around in the future.  Then again, if people found out ghosts were real, wouldn't they try and catch them, study them, kill them, and wage war with them like we do to everyone and everything?  It would be the living verses the dead!  I don't know who I'd root for!!!  I'm making a book(s) on that!!!!  ERMAGURD!!!!!!!!!!!

Or maybe, when we die, we come back as another person, or another animal.  I've always thought that since matter and energy can't be destroyed, can't the same go for the human soul?  Maybe, when you die, you come back as some animal on another planet, billions of light years away.  Maybe you come back as one of your neighbors kittens that was just born.
