Roadie

Ryleigh was down looking at the stage for one of her bestfriend's Christi Rose. They had been friends for some time. They would hang out when Christi would come to her town. Recently they had reconnected and talked which that ended up in Ryleigh becoming her 'roadie'. Christi was one of the only female lead acts performing on the set for today's show. Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo were on the tour with headliner Lita Ford. Those were the lady rockers. Christi was a bit nervous as these women had been on the scene more and were legends. The battle of the bands so to speak. Plus if you really thought about it Christi was the opening act for them. She would only be doing a couple songs the last one being her number one track.

The next set up after the women would be the bands. The bands being Black Veil Brides, Palaye Royale and Metallica. Headliners in this one were Palaye Royale as they were hugely popular and bringing in the money.

Rehearsals were underway as was stage set up was being worked on. Most of the stage hands were chatting away, while the bands were getting ready for their VIP Meet and Greet and Photo Ops. Shit she was in charge of that too for Christi. Hopefully she would be able to get over and see her bestie who had said she had a surprise for her. With Rebecca who she called Becca she never knew what to expect and a surprise could mean anything for her. She was anxious, she also knew that Becca would be hanging close to her boyfriend Remington. He was a nice guy. They had all hung out a few times.

Around lunch she went and checked in with Christi. She had been in a little bit of a funk lately. You see how Ryleigh ended up being the roadie for her friend Christi, it's a bit of a long story but not. She (Christi) had hired a roadie, but they had also started to see each other. When she approached him to hire him to come on the road, he told her no. He couldn't deal with the fact that Christi was always noticed when she went out. He couldn't handle being stuck in a hotel room all the time either so he told her that he didn't see the relationship lasting and that he had better things and people to do. So being an artist, that stung because it was hard to find people who you could trust to date let alone do something of this nature for you. On one of her visits back home she ran into her friend Ryleigh. They had talked, Christi asked her to become her roadie and since Ryleigh didn't have anything going on she went for it. They had been touring together ever since. One good thing, it gave her plenty of bestie time with Christi.

"Hey Christi, let's go snag some lunch before shows start. I have to meet up with Becca too quickly before we get you ready to go on."

Christi had just gotten out of the shower and had some of her outfit on. Ripped boyfriend jeans, and a black tank top with 'guns and roses' on it. She hadn't added her jewelry or make up yet. The woman walked over to her barefoot, as she hated shoes. Taking a deep breath, "Yeah we can do that. As long as we don't run into Cody I'm fine." Ryleigh put her hand on Christi's shoulder, "Girl... He's old news. His loss. If he is here and if he tries to start anything he won't make out very well. I'm here, Becca's here with her boyfriend and his band. So he will learn very quick if he is dumb enough to do shit." Christi nodded and went to brush her hair. Ryleigh sat on the couch in the room. She sent Becca a text telling her they were taking a break and grabbing a quick bite.

"Becca, I'm here taking a break from set up to get some lunch. I'm making Christi come get something to eat since I know she hasn't eaten and she's up first. Do you and Remi want to meet us or if he's busy do you wanna meet?"

Rebecca was in the middle of some play time with Remington when her phone went off. She growled playfully telling Remington to not lose his idea. He rolled his eyes and continued to nibble on her neck as she read her text. Then his brothers started yelling to him that it was time to start getting ready. He kissed her lips sweetly. "Babe this is going to have to continue later on, and I plan on continuing. I have to go get ready with Sebastian and Emerson."
