The next morning, you woke up to the smell of breakfast cooking. You sat up and rubbed your eyes, yawning. You swung your legs over your bed and got the sudden urge to pee. Mindlessly making your way to the bathroom, subbing your toe on the door frame, you opened the bathroom door. Now, you've gotten used to not having to wait for the bathroom since your brother left, but you're going to have to break that habit. Your eyes widened when you saw Seokmin standing there with nothing but a towel around his waist. You gasped and quickly closed the door. You put your back against it, your heart beating fast. You quickly went to your parents bathroom. Your mom was at her dresser getting clothes out.

"Good morning, are you okay? You look like you just saw a ghost."

"Yeah, no I'm fine." You said quickly as you closed her bathroom door. After you did your business, you tried to gain the courage to face him again. You slowly made your way to the dining room and saw him sitting where he was yesterday eating with your parents. You noticed that everyone was dressed but you. You looked down at your pajamas and groaned.

"Come sit down, sweetie." Your mom said. You sighed and avoided eye contact with Seokmin. You kept stuffing your face so you didn't have to say anything. "(Y/n), do you want to take Seokmin around the city today? It'll give you something to do other than stay hidden away in your room obsessing over Korean men in flashy costumes."

"Ack, mom-" Seokmin giggled. You blushed and finished eating. Without another word, you went and got dressed. After you got ready, you went back out into the living room where Seokmin and your dad was talking about, I don't know, man things?

"(Y/n), here is some money, you and Seokmin go have fun." Your mom handed you some money.

"Um, what are we supposed to do?" You asked. She gave you a look.

"What do you mean? You're a teenager, do what teenagers do, I don't know." You sighed.

"Fine." You grabbed your keys and your purse. "Um, Seokmin, are you ready to go?" You asked. He nodded and stood up. You both went out to your car. "Oh, um, by the way, I'm sorry for earlier." You said quietly. "I didn't mean to barge in the bathroom- I mean, I didn't realize that you might be in there-" You trailed off as you thought about his toned back, and the water from the shower dripping down his chest- Your thoughts were interrupted by his laughter.

"It's okay." You could feel your cheeks heating up and tried to hide your face. You both got in the car and you sat there thinking.

"Hmm, do you know of any places around here that you want to go to?" You asked him.

"I heard this city had a really good smoothie shop." He said.

"Oh yeah, it does, I love that place. I'll take you there." You went to get smoothies and when you stepped inside the store, there was a long line, since it was so popular you know. "Ugh, so many people." You mumbled. You and Seokmin stood in line making small talk until you were interrupted.

"(Y/n)?" Someone asked. You cringed at the familiar voice and pretended you didn't hear. "(Y/n)!" They called again. You kept pretending.

"(Y/n), I think that girl is calling you." Seokmin said.

'Gee, thanks.' You sighed and turned your head.

"I knew it was you!" A girl named Mae was sitting down with her friends Marie and Mina drinking smoothies. Marie, Mina and Mae are well-known at your school, but not in a good way. They like to sleep around and make bets with each other about how many guys they can sleep with in a week. They hate on every girl who is prettier than them and do anything to make sure they get all the attention. You really despise them and keep your distance because you don't need that in your life. Honestly, you are prettier then them, that's why they see you as a threat. They bullied you a lot in middle school, but it died down when you got to high school. They realized that maybe having you in their little clique will make them look better as a whole. They tried to get you to hang out with them but you rejected. Since then, they've been nothing but a bother and still verbally bully you. Now though, you're stronger and ignore what they say. They are the type of people who are sarcastic and act like your friend but give you backhanded compliments. You just try to avoid them at all costs.

"Hey, Mae, how's it going?" You asked unenthusiatically. She smiled.

"I'm fine, thanks. I missed you all summer, where have you been?" She asked, glancing at Seokmin.

"Oh, you now, around. Kind of like you always are." She scoffed but kept a smile.

"Right, who's this?" She asked. You really didn't want them to know Seokmin because you were afraid maybe he'll get tied up in their game.

"Um, this is Seokmin. Seokmin, this is Mae." She held her hand out for him to grab, expecting him to kiss it. He awkwardly grabbed it and shook it.

"Seokmin is an interesting name. Where are you from?" Again, you didn't want them interested in him.

"Oh, Seokmin, I forgot we have somewhere else to be right now. Let's go." You grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the store and walked back to the car. You both got in and you gripped the steering wheel and sighed.

"Where do we have to be?" He asked.

"Um, nowhere. I just wanted to get away from her."

"Why? I thought she was your friend."

"Hah, please, we are far from friends."

"What's wrong with her?"

"Let's just say she doesn't have the best morals, nor is a good person for that matter, um, just stay away from her when we start school, okay?" He looked a little confused but agreed anyway.

"So what are we going to do now?" He asked.

"Let's just go to the movies instead. How does that sound?"

"That's fine with me." He said, smiling.

"But I still want a smoothie!" He pouted. Your heart started beating faster at his cute expression.

"O-of course. Well get some another time." You both went to the movie theater and watched a comedy. Afterwards, you went back home and saw that both of your parents were gone.

'Hmm, that's weird.' You shrugged it off and got settled in. You and Seokmin sat awkwardly next to each other on the couch. "Uh, do you want to just watch tv?" You asked. He said sure and you turned the tv on. You got comfortable on the couch and laughed together until your parents got home. Soon, it was late and you went and took a shower. When you were done, you got dressed and went back to your room. Seokmin's door was cracked and you overheard him talking on the phone. He was obviously talking to someone back home. You heard words like 'yoja' and 'yepuda'. You're not fluent in Korean but you think you've watched enough k-dramas to know those words. You started blushing. 'Is he talking about me?' You asked yourself. Suddenly he stopped talking and walked towards the door. You quickly went to your room and closed the door quietly. You subconsciously bit your lip and smiled. 'Pft, he was so talking about me.'
