Kai opened his eyes and had a bush in front of his eyes. When he swatted at it, he screamed. His hands weren't hands, they were long and had nails and five fingers instead of one. He pushed the bush with his "hand" and realized that the bush was his hair. It was long and matted and no longer pointy. He pulled it back with his hand and then realized he could reach the back of his head.

"What?" he asked himself. He then stood up and almost fell headfirst into the grass in front of him. His legs were longer and he had shoes and feet. He flexed his fingers and tried to walk forward. He stood up and took a step. Then he fell face first into something hard.

"OW!" Cole yelped as Kai landed on his leg. "What are you..." Cole cut himself off as he saw his hand moving with his words.

"WHAT IS GOING ON I WANT AN EXPLANATION!!" Jay yelled.

Cole's ears hurt with Jay's yelling. He suddenly realized he had ears. Cole spun his head to look at Jay. Jay was standing, barely. Jay's legs were shaking and he was leaning against a tree. Lloyd was the only one standing without a tree and not falling over. Only his arms were out to balance himself. Nya was leaning on her elbows and her head was up. They were in a clearing and every one of the Ninja were completely out of it. However, there was one ninja that Cole couldn't find.

"Where's Zane?" Cole asked.

Zane could only see black. Absolute nothingness. Suddenly, his face started to reboot.

"Rebooting," it said in a high pitched woman voice. He finally got to open his eyes and when he did, his visor flicked on and he was face first with the ground in front of him.

"Hello grass," he said as he lifted himself up from the ground and gazed around the area he was in. He was in a forest, a forest that didn't seem normal to him. Everything was bright and detailed, the sun was round and beautiful, making the leaves in the trees shine with brilliant colors. The trees themselves looked carved and textured and he put his metallic hand out to brush the bark. The grass underneath him bent to the weight of his body. It felt soft underneath his knees and hands.

He searched for his friends before realizing that his entire body was coated in titanium and with titanium arms and legs. The gears were all silver and his clothing was all made of silk. The silk was white, with a hint of blue in its color. He adjusted himself to look at his reflective robotic hand. In the reflection, he saw his silver face with curled white hair. His eyes were a brilliant blue.

He looked at himself and said, "Very odd." He flexed his robotic hand and then tried to stand up fully. He stumbled for a second, but then caught his balance. He stood tall, around 6 feet, much taller than he had originally thought. His silk gi partially fell from his shoulder and revealed hard metal abs and broad shoulders. He felt more robotic looking, but still had his human emotions.

A twig broke behind him. He spun to face the stranger, he was met with a girl's eyes. He cocked his head to the side and she did the same.

"Who are you?" he asked with a soft, metallic tone.

She blinked her golden eyes at him. He thought it was strange, her eyes were gold, like pure gold. She wore a blue jean jacket with a gray shirt underneath. She had brown tactical fingerless gloves covering her hands and tight brown leggings with dusty black boots. Her hair was dark brown with light gold highlights. It draped down her neck and over her shoulder, like a waterfall. Half of the hair was pinned up with a bobby pin, showing the gold highlights in her hair more vividly. Around her neck was an orange face covering bunched up between her chin and chest.

She straightened and huffed, "Not afraid of you apparently." So she was sassy, that was good to know.

"Nova, my name is Nova," she growled at him.
