Planning Session in the Hideout: The group gathers around a cluttered table with maps, laptops, and printed files.

Emma: "We've confirmed at least eight subjects in the Obsidian File. They're scattered across three states."

Noah: "But these locations... some of them are abandoned buildings or places that don't make sense. Like they're being hidden."

Lena: "Or worse, trapped. If these factions want to keep them quiet, they'll make sure no one finds them."

Emma: typing rapidly "I'm cross-referencing social media, public records... anything that can give us a recent trace."

Noah: "We should split up. I can take the northern locations. Lena, you cover the south. Emma and I'll check out the central ones together."

Lena: "What about risks? These factions aren't just rumors. We might walk into a trap."

Emma: "We'll stay in constant contact. If anything feels off, we pull back."

 A Narrow Escape

Noah visits an old warehouse where the file says one subject was last seen.

Noah (whispering into his earpiece): "I'm inside the warehouse. It's empty... for now."

Suddenly, footsteps echo from above. He ducks behind crates as shadowy figures patrol.

Noah: "Emma, I've got company. Moving to extraction point Bravo."

Emma (on phone): "Copy that. I'm sending your location to Lena."

Noah carefully slips out a back door, barely escaping.

Planning How to Help the Subjects

The group reconvenes, sharing intel and discussing options.

Emma: "The subjects are in danger — some are imprisoned, others under surveillance. We need a way to protect them and get them out safely."

Noah: "We could create safe houses — places they can disappear to for a while."

Lena: "We'll need resources. Fake IDs, supplies, maybe medical help if they've been hurt."

Emma: "I can hack into some databases to erase or alter their digital footprints."

Noah: "We should also try contacting sympathetic insiders — people who might work within the factions but want out."

Lena: "It's risky, but it might be our best chance."

Emma: "Okay. Let's split tasks: I handle the digital side; Noah and Lena scout safe locations and reach out to contacts."

Noah: "We move fast. The factions won't wait."

An Unexpected Warning

Emma receives an encrypted message on her phone.

Emma: reading aloud "'Stop digging, or you'll be next.'"

Noah: "Looks like we got their attention."

Lena: "This just got a whole lot more dangerous."
