Vince walked out of to reception after another call from the director. Another special case. This time he looked totally different. He wasn't dressed in a suit but since he had just come from a case. He wasn't a sight to look forward to. His grey t-shirt was bloody and torn. And so were his jeans.

Alice did a double take at the man that walked out of the elevator. This wasn't his usual self. He always dressed proper when meeting with the boss.

Vince just ignored her and walked into the office. "Hey wait-" her voice was cut off as he locked the door behind him.

His heart skipped when he saw the man seated on one of the chairs. He hadn't seen or heard from Gray in six months. The thing that made it all go faster is the job he was doing.

He forego the chair and moved to stand by the window.

Bill studied his two agents. This is not what he meant by learning from each other. They had completely switched appearances. Gray was now well shaven and groomed. He even seemed to sit more upright. On the other hand, Vince didn't even look fit to be in his office. He understands that he had just come from a job, but that had never been a hindrance before. He sighed and opened the file on his desk.

"Okay. A newlywed couple were found murdered in their honeymoon suite."

Vince moved back and sat down. Bill passed two files to them and they opened them. There was a picture of a blonde man with a bullet wound in between his eyes. The woman wasn't as lucky. She had knife wounds all over her body. But the one that killed her was her throat being slit. He flipped through the pages and came across pictures of the same grotesque images. Only different couples.

"This guy really hates women. Especially just married ones," Gray said. He cringed at the photos.

"Okay, that's it. If you'll excuse me, I have a meeting to attend." Bill gets up and leaves the two men behind. Gray fiddles with the file not knowing what to say.

"How have you been?" Vince asked.

"Okay. You?"

"Okay I guess. Just came from a job."

"I can see that."

There is silence once again. Gray gets up and leaves after muttering a goodbye. Vince follows behind after a few seconds. He didn't know it'd be that awkward after no contact for so long. It would have been way better if they hadn't kissed. But it's not the case.
