ALL MY LOVE

ima - even if the world ends tomorrow

 - Bad luck today , do it - now

The quiet hum of the engine was the only sound between them.

Nami sat in the passenger seat, her head resting lightly against the window. Her eyes were open, but she wasn't really looking at anything. The streets passed by slowly outside, blurred by the soft sunlight.

Kay glanced at her from time to time. She hadn't said much since they left his place. Just a quiet "thank you" when he opened the car door for her, and a small nod when he asked if she was feeling okay.

The drive wasn't long, but it felt heavier than usual. Like something invisible was sitting in the backseat with them.

When they finally pulled up in front of her house, he put the car in park and looked over at her. She was already unbuckling her seatbelt, moving slowly, like every movement took thought.

"I'll walk you to the door"
He said softly.

"It's okay. I'll be fine."
She shook her head, barely glancing at him.

 "You sure?"
He hesitated.

"Thank you for... letting me stay over."
She nodded.

Her voice was gentle, but distant. Almost like she was somewhere else entirely.

Once she arrives home , she took off her shoes and laid down on her mattress .

" What about the nightmare ? "
She thought by herself .

The ache in her chest spreads.

She turns to face the wall, eyes glistening with the tears she refuses to let fall. Her other hand presses against her stomach, an old habit she never fully grew out of. The pain is no longer physical, but the ghost of it still lingers.

Outside, the birds begin to sing.

She listens to them, barely blinking. Her body is still. Her mind is not.

Another breath. Then another.

She knows she has to get up eventually.
But for now, she lets herself feel it.
The weight. The memory. The ache.
All of it.

A minute passed

A minute passed.

Then another.

His fingers tightened around the steering wheel. Something was wrong. He had seen it in the way she smiled that morning, in how she barely touched her food, in how she stayed quiet even when he teased her like he always did.

He waited. The screen stayed silent.

The seat beside him still held the warmth of her presence, but the car already felt too quiet without her.
