Cata Cuthbert's path

(Part 4) ~Im happier than you!~

New things were built in plant kingdom and it was developed
Cata was hanging out with her career friends, Manhattan and Savannah and their friends in The blue Myosotis park. It's a new hangout park full of natural wonders but sitting areas and it has high security.

Cata was still 21, but she understood so many stuff from life and she gave advices to younger and older people. She kinda started to appreciate how she changed to a person who doesn't really waste time over a few money nowadays, she only works hard or takes a break. And she appreciated her friends more than her money, they reminded her of her old friends from old plant kingdom that she was still looking for. As spoken in part 3. She was looking for anyone.. or any clue... to find her old friends.. and maybe be able to repay or thank them.. and appreciate them more. She walked near their houses everyday to see any clue and she finally found one of the houses with open lights peeking out the window.. and it was the richest one which she called.. scammer king.. but that was her only hope. She knocked on the door and she slowly started getting excited but anxious when he opened the door. He changed..
"Who is it..?" He asked
"Oh I'm.. I'm Cata.. Cata Cuthbert do you remember me..?"
"Who.. are you?"
"Remember.. plant island..?" Cata asked and his expression lightened up at that wuestion a bit
"Yeah"
"I was.. one of the citizens.. the young one.. the owner of the shop that became #1.. and I remember you.. the rich one.. we weren't even close because you were mostly with other rich citizens but.. im the one who you gave a mega plant token during the giveaway.."
"I don't seem to remember.. you remember all that..?"
"Yes! All of a sudden I realized that my true happiness was.. you all.. especially.. the one called Leon Zac.. and I wanted any clue.. to find any of you.."
And she explained what she did
"You even remember their houses? And mine?"
"Mhm.."
"Hm.. I need to show you something.."
"Sure"
Then he drove Cata to a park in a part of plant kingdom she didn't know it existed.. it was after a forest.. and there was the Neon park..
a park that was in plant island.. surrounded by neon fences.. They rebuilt it here to remmeber the memories back there.. it was empty now though.
Cata was surprised and she almost wanted to tear up at the realization that this special memory was almost fading away from her brain.. and it was saved.
"I remmeber this.. it's where.. I sold my stuff"
Then he showed her more rebuilt parks in a short journey till night time and Cata felt extremely refreshed and fulfilled..
they talked about old friends and that some left the kingdom which saddened Cata.. but there was still no clue if Leon Zac is still there or no
Then later they talked about their current life now..
"How old are you though?"
"Oh I'm 21.. so I was 13 at that time" Cata replied
"21.. 13? No way.. how did you know how to deal with things"
"Heh.. I was like that.. well wbu?"
"28"
"I see.."
"Well it's getting late now.. we need to go back and well.. I will cya later"
"Okay..!"

Ever since that day Cata felt really relieved and refreshed.. and she slowly met other old friends who were told by him that they met and that they r still here.. in plant kingdom
And Cata somehow had to also give attention on her current life with her friends.. as a surgeon and a creative artist and yet the thoughts of her about appreciating old things like she was supposed to and.. true happiness..

One day she went to hangout with the doctors as usual but her mind was focusing on these thoughts again
As Manhattan and the others were speaking, it was a topic Cata couldn't really talk about but she only listened to Manhattan to observe his personality and opinions. Later the group went on a walk in the streets that were even more beautiful than they were previously. Cata found a girl who was selling rare flowers, she seemed to be really in need for money and Cata wasn't broke so she decided to buy all flowers with a high offer (3 Plant tokens which r worth 6$) which was nothing to her but she saw that the girl was really happy and she thanked her a lot. Cata was really glad to make the girl happy.
Later she admired the flowers and decided to give each of them to a close friend including her siblings. Some people were really happy and some seemed to be used to it so they coldly thanked her..
Next day Cata was sitting in the park alone just discovering what she didn't discover by herself. She sat under a tree later and was about to ponder but then she saw Manhattan walking towards her with a Red flawless rose in his hand. She got up and walked towards him to greet him and she noticed him holding the rose. He gave her it and said
"Hello, This is for you" with a smile
Cata was shocked for a second then she took the rose with an obviously happy smile on her face
"Really? Thank you!" She said warmly
"You're welcome, you deserve it.." replied Manhattan
Cata started to think of why he would gift her that rose and why does she "deserve it" but then she remembers that he was one of the people that seemed glad to receive the flowers from her and she felt glad he made her happy That way in return.
Manhattan and Cata hung out for a while and talked about what made them choose the surgeon career
"I only learnt in my orphanage the syllabus until 1st preparatory so when In plant kingdom my life was stable I continued learning all what I missed out.. and then I chose to be a doctor because I felt motivated.. since my old friends were surgeons."
"Your old friends?"
"Yeah.. my old friends who I call.. family"
"I see, well I became a surgeon because I got a good mark when I graduated from school so I decided since a surgeon is really needed in plant kingdom. I studied well and now you see the position I am in"
"Wow that's cool!" Said impressed Cata
"But can you tell me more about your old friends? Or let's say.. family?"
"Sure!"
Then Cata told him about her old friends and Manhattan listened deeply. There was a difference between Cata and Manhattan in their childhood. Manhattan, who was a boy with no siblings grew in a mid house and he was the.. introvert.. He was entertained with studying and discovering more than time with his friends. While Cata, who grew in an orphanage which she escaped to plant kingdom and all these adventures made her the girl she is now. Cata felt that Manhattan is probably a better person than her, and maybe happier.. But she wasn't sure, she saw this situation lots of times and that made her think of what happiness is like later.

Next day in the clinic, Cata was on a break. Manhattan was too, and he was with his best friend talking about her. His best friend asked to meet her and know her by himself cuz he was impressed by what Manhattan told her, and Manhattan accepted to do so.
They both went to Cata who was cleaning her tools and then when she saw them she got excited that she will get to know and to be known by someone new
The three talked and Cata found that Manhattan's friend seems to be mature but really rich and has everything a lucky person would have, Cata used to get impressed by these types of people but nowadays they r seen a lot so she didn't seem to be impressed
They also talked about their past lives, where Cata was in plant island and Manhattan's friend told her about his which seemed to be kinda fancy
"I was 24/7 in parties.. but well, different ones each time. In fact I was able to spend money each time and had lots of fun
I worked hard. Really hard and sold expensive stuff.. I asked for donations too but all that because.. money buys happiness. Even tho I mostly stayed bored in my palace all day.. btw, Was your shop and your house luxurious.. like mine?"
"No.."
Cata replied that with an irritated feeling and a bit of jealousy.. but she took a moment to think of it.. and that made her angry and want to shout "but I was happier than you"
Next day Cata met the same girl who she bought the flowers from and the girl wanted to talk to her
"You are really beautiful and kind, can we be friends?" Asked the girl
"Sure! I would be glad to!" Replied Cata
They talked about how they live their lives and stuff like that
"My family got scammed most of their money by a person pretending to own a bank.. now we are poor since and trying to gain money any other way.. and I try to help them!"
"That's sad.. but it's great a little girl like you helps them!"
"I only found the value of money when I didn't have so much of it now.."
"Do you mean that you are happier when u buy a drink or a snack or something to cheer you up.. less than you used to do?"
"Yeah.. it's.. that feeling"
"You know.. that feeling of true happiness is better than being wealthy"
"You are so wealthy tho.."
"I am wealthy to you, but my other friends are wayyyy richer.. they.. work really hard and those who sell stuff sell it for high costs.. unlike me.."
"They are probably happy in their lives, Cata!"
"Hmm... maybe they are not.."

Ever since that conversation Cata was reminded by that fact and she couldn't get it off her mind, everyday she met a new friend who would brag about how much things he has, didn't make her envious or jealous anymore. She still felt happy for them but she felt pity when they soon find it dull. And one day She was talking with Manhattans friend.
"You know, it's always better to choose who is your true non-related friend carefully.."
"My true friends are three. One of them is Manhattan. Those 3 mostly spend time with me and do good things for me!"
"3? Is that it? I have tons of friends like those"
" 3 is maybe low, but did you realize that way? **I am Happier** !"
