Shattered secrets

Where all story's start.

???? pov:

"Lets go on an adventure." He said. 

"It will be fun."He said. 

"What could possibly go wrong?" He said.

As it turned out the answer was a lot, a lot could go wrong. As seen by the fact that both me and my friend were currently plummeting from space after a disastrous incident on our shared ship.

But that was beside the point, the point was that the ground was coming up fast, and was looking less forgiving every moment that passed.

???:"Hey!Since we're about to die and stuff, I wanted to say that yo-" 

Everything went dark, evidently due to the ground which, despite being snow still knocked me out just as well as pavement would.

I sit up slowly rubbing my head,somehow not dented or scratched in any way,even though had that fall been any harder I would not have survived it.

???:"Hey! You good man? That view was crazy!"

I turned to see my best(and only)friend, Keith Tass was walking toward me waving in that way he has,like a total NPC. Maybe that was a bit mean,he's always there for me and life is at least interesting with him. But that doesn't mean that I'm letting him off the hook for crashing us here.I roll my eyes.

????:"Whatever were you saying about what could go wrong?Something about how we were perfectly safe in the ship and that the sensors to detect asteroids were unnecessary?"

He rubs his head in embarrassment and looks sheepish.

Jax:"Yeah that wasn't my best moment,but you're hardly blameless, you could have at least tried to stop me Keith."

Keith:Oh how dare I go with my friend on an adventure to help him avoid death,the guilt hath crippled me.

He rolls his eyes at me the same way his family always does,they have it down to a science.

Jax:Any idea where we are,never seen a planet with snow before let alone ice,makes you miss that steady heat back home and the forest,and the sky.

I look around and see the sheer amount of snow filling the air, stuck to the ground,and even embedded into the ice around. I'd only seen snow in books and it was colder than I thought it would be,leaving a sharp sting when ever one lands on me. 

We seem to have landed in a clearing, about 100 or so feet from end to end. Said clearing was surrounded by huge ice spikes on all sides,small gaps in-between showed only more spikes. Looking up our ship  is stuck in the biggest one, it's so wide there's a tunnel running through it that both of us can easily walk through and what looks like, nothing,on the other side. Maybe nothing a cliff probably but a wonderfully tall one if so. 

Far off in the distance was a large ship, or what you could assume  was a large ship,if it was then it had obviously crashed,mile high flames shot up into the sky,looking like the sun was rising. That particular ship had caused the two of you to crash,it had distracted us long enough for a stray asteroid to send us flying toward the biggest thing nearby,the planet covered in ice and water.

That may not have been their fault but they shot us on the way down,just to make sure we crashed.

 That particular journey wasn't exactly legal and seeing as you were also trespassing in what used to be hostile space, there were bound to be stragglers from the BFU even after the few years since the war the torn the galaxy apart.
