The following story may contain a lot of triggers. Please do proceed with caution. This is my story, a story of an Indian woman, who find writing her escape, and share her journey , in the hopes that maybe....just maybe she can save someone or give someone the courage to leave a toxic relationship. Learn to heal regardless how harsh the society may appear to be. Find and stitch herself back stronger than before to survive the harsh realities which lay ahead in life.

We may have evolved in terms of adapting to technology , clothes , and food. Somewhere deep inside - a woman with a child who decides to leave and proceed with a divorce is always looked down upon.

Domestic Violence - verbal, emotional or physical is still abuse. Reach out to mental health professionals or seek the support of your family . Speak up, if not now, then WHEN?

Reflection is the deeply moving journey of an Indian woman who rises from the ashes of pain, betrayal, and shattered dreams. From the physical agony of spinal surgeries to the life-altering joy of motherhood, from the silent wounds of domestic violence to the courageous decision to leave a toxic marriage—this is a story of resilience etched in scars and silence.

As she walks the uncertain path of healing and divorce, haunted by self-doubt and broken self-worth, she fights not just for herself but for a better life for her son. With every step forward, she begins to reclaim her voice, her strength, and her identity. Reflection is not just a tale of survival—it's a testament to the quiet power of a woman choosing herself after being told she never mattered.

Raw, honest, and achingly real, this memoir is a mirror to the soul of every woman who has ever had to rebuild from the ruins.
