The traffic is less heavier here in Rimando than Magsaysay-Harrison, the roads here are slope and I am holding my maleta tight to secure it not to abala other passengers because as I mentioned the road is downhill-uphill here in Rimando.
I am near where I’ll be renting because we already passed the intersection of Rimando-M.Roxas St. which is my palatandaan because a few seconds going uphill, I can para sa may waiting shed pa-Upper Brookside where I will be staying at.
Nahirapan ako ibaba and maleta ko pero I managed to do it even tho the slope is like 45 degrees.
It is a two-storey residential house that the owner made into a rental apartment for college students in Baguio, which I think is a good move because the monthly rent here is costly.
I pressed the doorbell of the gate twice and waited patiently. Natawagan ko na rin naman beforehand ang owner na ngayon move in ko so wala na ako kinabahala. Kilala na rin ako dahil last month pa nakausap ng parents ko ang owner that I will be renting one of their room.
“Good morning, auntie.” Bati ko sa nagbukas ng gate.
A woman in her mid 50s welcome-ly smiled at me and helped carry my maleta.
She introduced herself as Auntie Mely, a stay-in caretaker of the house. The owner called her last night that I am moving in and prepared the room for me.
When we got inside the gate I can see some landscape on their yard that has nice plants and small trees that looks taken cared of, they be there lookin luscious green with the view of city houses.
It looks so nice here like I wanna cry just because?!? there is a parking lot that fits one car?! ha! who u people that buys a car but does not own a garage for it?? haha im kidding.
Jokes aside, dont get a car as if you own a government road making it your parking area and not minding the people who walks on sidewalks. It’s for people to walk by, not a private parking space.
