*(Gun Shot)*

Another Gun shot again!Everyone looked at Ethan

Ethan: What- It's not me this time!

He said defensively. Everyone ran towards the source of sound. It was from the school campus. But there was no sign of Iris

Kazuhiko: Let's go back. She couldn't have gone out the library.

Chloe: Right. I know for exact that she doesn't have the guts.

Ethan: Okay. Now you guys are just judging her.

Iris: Guys!

As soon as Iris yelled everyone ran to her. Though she looked at them confused.

Iris: What?
Ethan: what do you mean 'what?'
You've just went missing!?

Iris: Who in the world said-

Chloe: Where were you anyway?
Iris: I went back to the hamster. The bucket was still, and when I opened it. The hamster was dead.

Kazuhiko: Dead?
Iris: Yeah..It was...rotten

Ethan: What? Already?
Iris: yeah. Why?
Ethan: Well first of all. A dead form wouldn't be rotten if it'd just died. And we all saw the hamster perfectly moving moments ago

Chloe: You're right. But how?
Kazuhiko: You think professor Wu's hamster is connected to the zombies..?
Ethan: Guys- Where's Iris now!?

Everyone looked around and spotted Iris on the library couch already sleeping.

Kazuhiko: Does she always have the tendency to vanish?

Chloe and Ethan: Eh.

*(Iris POV:)*

I woke up the next morning feeling sore...what in the world...I feel like a huge brick fell on top of me. I looked around and saw no one there. They must've woken up early. I walked around for a while and saw them in one of the library table reading some books.

*(Kazuhiko POV:)*

Iris: Hey guys

Iris greeted us. We all turned our heads to her. Chloe greeted her back, I looked away hoping my face isn't red, and Ethan just nodded at her in acknowledgement.

Iris: Ugh..I feel so sore..*Iris groaned in annoyance stretching her arms up.*

Chloe glanced up to me mischievously. My eyes widened, as I stared at her pleadingly.

Chloe: *smirk* It's cause me and Kazuhiko slept on top of you.

Iris:Eh!?

I quickly looked away my red check turning even more red. I expected her to confront me and chloe- Well..mostly me.

Iris: And you guys didn't even invite Ethan to the group cuddle!? That's just mean..

Did she just- Is she that blind

Ethan: It's okay Iris ,really

Ethan said fully focused on the microscope 🔬. I woke up earlier in the morning, he and Chloe was already awake, it looked that they wanted to talk about something considering the tension. So I did them a favor and broke the tension for them. I know right, I'm such a good friend 😁✨. I told Ethan about the hamster and Iris's theory.

Iris: What are you doing Ethan?

Ethan: I'm checking the Hamster's cells. There's something weird about it..

Iris: Like what?

Ethan stepped back allowing Iris to take a peak of the microscope. The cells are dead. But it's moving.

Iris: How's that even possible?
Ethan: I don't know. But we can't be sure that it's connected to the zombies unless we get some.. samples for them..

Kazuhiko: Oh- I'll do it!

Chloe: Is this guy suicidal or something?

Iris: Kaze, will you stop putting yourself in danger sometimes???

Kazuhiko: *scoff* I do not.

Ethan: are you sure you're willing to Kazuhiko?

Kazuhiko: Yeah.

Ethan: I'll go with you.

Chloe: You won't survive out there facing zombies without any weapons.

Ethan:*cheeks flushed in embarrassment* You're right..

Chloe: I can go-

Ethan and Iris: *protectively* absolutely not!

Iris: As much as I know this plan is risky.. I can go.

Kazuhiko: But you have Claustrophobia.

Iris: I'll just go through the window then.

Kazuhiko:...Fine. *he said gruffly*

Ethan:..Okay guys. We'll go see if there's anything you can use as a weapon in the storage room

Ethan said worriedly and unsure if his idea was right or not.
