"Alright, students," Bellona starts, "Does everyone have a group?" We all nod, "Good. Now, pay attention, alright?"

Honey watched in awe as the first divine being set up her arrows and got into a stance. One foot a few inches in front of the other, keeping her body lower to the ground, and her bow level as she pulls the arrow back against the string. She releases the arrow, and it lands on the edge of the bright red bullseye.

She speaks up in a cocky tone. "That;s how it's done, kids. You may now fire at the targets."

I keep quiet while Honey steps up and aims. Her arrow barely even hit the target. I couldn't help but chuckle a little bit. "Heheh..."

She lightly smacks my shoulder, "Oh shut up! Mr. Perfect Aim!"

"Sorry, sorry!" I giggle, setting up my aim while she goes and grabs her arrow that had hit the edge of the target.

I wait patiently, my arrow pulled back, ready to fire at the target. While Honey was pretty much directly in front of the target, trying to pry her arrow from the wooden target, the boy behind me decided it would be funny to tease me and put me in a headlock. The sudden touch startles me... And I gasp... Releasing my arrow..

The perfect aim was truly a curse in this case. I watched in absolute horror as the sharp arrow launches forward and pierces Honey in the chest... Bullseye...

I was frozen in fear as her black, angelic blood bleeds through her clothes. The arrow had pierced her spine, cutting through the blood vessles and the spinal cord. Drip... Drip... Drip... It leaks onto the floor. The arrow was pinning her body to the cold wooden target.

All of a sudden, I dash towards her body. "HONEY!!" My words came out as a blood curding scream. Honey gags up blood. "NO! No no no no no!" I pull her off of the target and sit her down of the floor. I sit with her. "W-Wake up! Open those eyes.. Please... P-Please..." I pleaded. I cry into her shoulder. I didn't care that I was getting her blood all over my hands. I needed her close to me, I needed her to wake up.. "C-Come on... Youre o-okay... I-I'm sorry! Oh lords... W-What have I done?" My voice trembles, like a child who had just scraped their knee.

I look up to see everyone staring at me with horrified expressions on their faces. The first divine being was the only one in the room with a neutral expression on her face. I look to her. She was a divine being after all, she should be able to do something about that, right? "D-do something! Please! P-please!" I was screaming, begging for someone to help.
There was a little bit of a selfish motive in helping her, however. I knew what happened to angels who ended a life, purposely or not. They get sent down to the mortal world, forced to live their long immortal life among the humans. It was the ultimate punishment, one far worse than death.

Bellona smiled. How could she smile at a time like this? How cruel could a supposed ruler be? "You can heal her. But you better hurry, young one, she's losing a lot of blood."

I shout. "HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HEAL HER?! H-How am I supposed to fix this?!"

She smiled wider, not menacingly, but gently, like she knew I was capable of something I was unaware of. "I know you can do it, Atsuki." How... How did she know my name?

I give up on trying to get help. Her bleeding had slowed, as she had no more blood in her body left to bleed. I just hold her body in my arms, sobbing. I check her pulse. It was too late to do anything. Honey was already gone...

My tears land on her open wound. As the water from my eyes collides with her blood, I watch as the wound on her chest closes up. "W-What in the eight lords..." I whisper. My hand goes to her chest in an attempt to check whether or not I was hallucinating.

I blink the tears from my eyes. I could feel the intense and disgusted glares of my peers. All eyes were on me. At least I finally got a taste of attention... I wipe my eyes and hug her now cold body close to me. The divine being took slow steps towards me, putting hands on my shoulders. She spoke to me in the same deep and soothing tone as always, however her words now felt more unsettling than comforting. "She's gone, Atsuki. You killed her," she leaned down and whispers in my ear, "You are a monster, Atsuki... You are unworthy of the paper white wings you bear... You killed a lesser angel."

I couldn't stop the river of tears from flooding my eyes this time. "I-It was an accident... I didn't mean to hurt her... I-I..." My soft voice trembles, "I need her to come back... M-Make her come back!"

Bellona slaps me across my face, leaving a massive bright red hand print on my cheek. "Stop being a moron. There's nothing we can do about it now. This is your fault. And to think your mother was the eighth divine being... You are nothing but a sad excuse for a reincarnation. If anyone could have brought your dear sweet Honey back, it would be you. That's your job after all."

I heard gasps from every single person in the room. My massive wings wrapped around both Honey and I. I had to keep her safe, even if I was the one who had ended her life. "How could I be a reincarnation of the eighth divine being? Thats not...That's not possible..."

"You are, Atsuki. You don't get a choice in the matter. Well, I guess your position doesn't need to be taken into consideration anymore, seeing as you're going to be sent down to the mortal world"
