Parallel Song: Bocchi The Yandere?!

"Oh, I heard from Fujin that there was going to be a lot of things. The other reason why Amaya and I went was because our school was just going to do some spirit week with some boring dance tomorrow."

"So that's why..." I mumbled.

"Not for me. I was dragged here by Haruka."

"Oh."

"Anywho, do you guys... Want to tag along?"

"Why would we not? Of course we'll tag along. Let's go!

Fujin wraps his arm around my shoulder and laughs happily.

"Alright, the council is assembled!"

Kita started to talk to Amaya as we walked. Haruka talked to Nijika, and Gotoh was left... With Ryo. The two might have had an awkward time together.

That maid dress really must make her uncomfortable.

"H-Hey, Fujin, I'm gonna talk to Gotoh real quick... Be right back."

"Alrighty. Go get er, champ." Fujin says into my ear, smirking.

"Shut up, man." I reply as I start to blush.

I walk backwards and stand next to Gotoh.

"Um, Gotoh-san..."

Gotoh looks up at me, and I clear my throat nervously.

"Here. To cover you up." I take my butler vest off and put it over her shoulders.

Beat that, Kita-san. I'm not letting you take her away from me.

I see a smile on Gotoh's face as she puts on the vest, but her expression looks almost... Dazed.

Okay, that's... Odd. Haha...

I smile and walk back towards Fujin.

"Good work, lad."

I roll my eyes playfully and keep walking with everyone.

(The events of chapter 16 play out like before. Only difference being that in the horror maze, the groups are different with Ryo and Kita, Haruka with Amaya, Hiroko with Fujin, and Hitori with Nijika.)

After everything that happened, Kessoku Band and I went to Starry and my childhood friends went to hang out somewhere else at Shibuya.

And as usual, we practiced before Starry opened, served drinks to people, and ended the night.

Luckily... Kita didn't follow Gotoh and I and chose to stay at Starry for a bit longer.

"Alright, the concert's tomorrow! Get a good night's sleep, you two!" Nijika tells Gotoh and I.

"See you two tomorrow!" Kita waves at us both while Ryo does it quietly.

"S-See you tomorrow!" Gotoh replied to them both.

"Y-Yeah, see you, Kita-san! See you, Nijika-chan!"

We both walk upstairs as we see Starry get further away from us.

"...Hey, Gotoh-san."

Gotoh was silent, and I took it as she wanted me to continue talking.

"About what happened today, with the two customers back at school, I-"

Gotoh suddenly pushes me, and my back hits the wall. But it wasn't me that I cared about, it was MY GUITAR!

"Wah! G-Gotoh-san, what are you doing?!"

She then gets close and puts her hands together, looking up at me.

"Hiroko-kun... I don't want any girl to take you from me... I want you all to myself..."

"What?"

"I-I... I want to be... I, ah..."

I finally realized what gotoh was saying. And my expression turns serious.

"I've liked you too. For a good while."

I look at her expression lighting up, and I feel my heart warming up.

Oh, she's... Jeez, her smile is too cute...

"Um, c-could I..." Gotoh opens her arms hesitantly and looks away shyly.

I chuckle and slowly hug her, sighing happily.

"...I don't want to say I love you since our feelings were just discovered, but... This feels right. Like it was always meant to be."

Gotoh stays silent, but even through the silence, I could tell she loved being this close to me.

Ah... This couldn't get any worse. But I should be aware that Gotoh-san might have the courage to kill someone for me.

Hoo wee! Another chapter well done! My first parallel song, finally finished! I hope you guys will enjoy more parallel songs like these because I have no idea how many of these I'm going to write.
