We were both quiet for a good while.
"Um, Gotoh-san... C-Could you untie my arms?"
I look up, expecting Gotoh to be in front of me.
"Gotoh-san?"
"S-Sorry, Hiroko-kun... But I don't want you to leave... Please lend me your ears..."
I suddenly feel a soft surface underneath my head, and I try not to show that I feel oddly comfortable.
"...Um. You know, you... Remind me of myself."
"Eh?" Gotoh's expression turns softer and less obsessive.
"Y-You lack the courage to do some things... Just like me."
Gotoh stays silent for a good while, and I begin to hear her giggling.
"M-Maybe you're not as afraid of me as I thought, Hiroko-kun..."
I laugh awkwardly with Gotoh and realize that the ties on my hands were actually pretty loose, and I didn't even realize after all this time.
You're a goddamn idiot, Hiroko.
I know, just be quiet right now.
"Um, t-there's this band that I'm in right now... And I've wanted to ask if you wanted to join... There's a missing guitarist in the band, b-but you can be a replacement or substitute." She offers me quietly.
... A band? I-I'm being invited to it?!
What the- Hell yes! Let's hit the jackpot right now!
Yessir!
"Oh, uh- really? Of course, yes! I-I'll gladly join, Gotoh-san!" I tell her as my eyes lighten up with joy.
I see that Gotoh also began to smile.
"Oh, and I've been wondering... Where are we?"
Gotoh pauses for a second.
"...We're at my place..."
I start to sweat, and I internally panic.
"And where exactly is your house...?"
"Um... Kanagawa..."
My eyes widen, and I realize I was around two to three hours away from home.
"I'm... Three hours..." I slowly get up from Gotoh's lap, and I look out her window, which the sky w theas currently dark out.
"Ah- H-Hiroko-kun..."
"I'm three hours away from home?!?!" I put my hands on my head and realize that my hands were out of the ropes.
(The events of Two Strings One Song happen, but the only difference is Hitori is obsessively clingy and worrying constantly about girls/Kessoku Band hitting on him)
Months later, during the Shuka High Culture Festival (AKA episode 11)...
Okay, so... I ran away from school. I don't have the guts to walk up to people and ask what they want to order. I'D RATHER HAVE THEM APPROACH ME INSTEAD! THIS ISN'T LIKE STARRY AT ALL!
To try to forget about the culture festival, I go on my phone and look at my YouTube channel.
"Man... I guess people do like my guitar videos more than my memes. The big problem is that they're only substitutes so I can buy myself time to make covers and original songs..."
I sigh and lie on the concrete.
"I wonder if anyone comes to this area in school."
I suddenly hear knocking, and I quickly get up, fixing my butler outfit and looking at the door.
