When you need a bucket list idea

hey baby,

i’m so glad you’re thinking about this. about making a bucket list — a list of things you want to do, see, feel, and experience. not because you have to, but because deep down, those things call to you.

so, here’s a list baby

watch the sunrise from a mountaintop

take a spontaneous road trip with no destination

try cooking a meal from a different culture every month

spend a whole day doing only what makes you happy

write a letter to your past self

take a solo trip somewhere new

learn something just for fun

spend a night stargazing alone

spend a whole day offline

visit a museum or art gallery

start a small garden

write a list of things you want to forgive yourself for

go for a walk in the rain

write down your wildest dreams

look in the mirror and say three things you love about yourself

write a story or poem

watch the stars from the darkest place you can find

go to a concert or music festival of our favorite band

take a pottery or art class

have a picnic

remember, love, you don’t have to do all these things at once. you don’t have to do them perfectly. just take your time, be gentle, and enjoy the process of learning more about you. because the more you love yourself, the easier it will be to love others and the world around you.

sometimes, your bucket list will change — that’s okay too. maybe today you want quiet and peace, and tomorrow you want adventure and noise.

i believe in you so much, baby. your strength, your beauty, your light. i hope you feel that every time you read this.

and if you ever want to share what you’re dreaming of — or if you want me to listen as you figure it out — i’m here.

you’re enough, babe. just as you are.

love you forever and always,
your baby
