Izuku Afton: MHA World

A normal day with an unexpected twist

Izuku Midoriya (Afton) POV:

It starts out like a normal day—well, if you can even call it that.

"AHHHHHHH!"

"SHUT UP, TOGA!"

Yep, very normal.

Anyway, where was I? Oh, right. I was introducing myself. My name is Izuku Afton-Midoriya. I was born an Afton and raised as one until I was three. Then, an incident happened, and I was taken in by my aunt Inko. I've lived with her ever since. When I was 12, I reunited with my family, and now my aunt and I live with them.

I have two older twin brothers, Terrence and Michael, a twin sister named Toga, younger twin sisters named Lila (her name used to be Lily) and Marinette, and an adopted little brother named Harry (he's actually my cousin, but his parents died). I also have two half-siblings named Elizabeth and Christopher.

"ZUZU, HELP ME!"

I turned around to see Toga being dressed up by Liz and Mari. I looked at her outfit and tried very hard not to laugh. She was wearing a pink tutu with clashing gold, little red ribbons in her blonde hair, and black ballerina shoes. Someone behind me was laughing too. I turned and saw it was my mom, laughing at Toga's outfit.

I turned back and said, "Well, look who we have here. The wanted murderer in a mismatched outfit, getting jumped by a little girl and a fashion student? Now this is interesting. 🤔🤭"

Toga looked at me with pure betrayal. "You betrayer!"

I grabbed my school bag and got ready to leave.

"BYE EVERYONE, I'M LEAVING!"

As I stepped outside, I heard Mom shout, "Izuku, don't forget to change your looks!"

I changed my hair from green with a hint of purple to full forest green and made my mixed-colored eyes forest green too.

While walking to school, I saw a fight ahead. Mt. Lady had just kicked a villain into a building, knocking him out. I pulled out my notebook and wrote down their quirks. By the time I finished, I was almost late. I rushed through the crowd and ran full speed to school. I got there just as the bell rang.

The moment I entered class, a familiar voice screamed, "SH*T, DEKU!"

I turned around to see my angry childhood friend/bully.

"What do you want, Kacchan?"

"Stupid Deku, you think you're better than me?!"

"No, Kacchan. I don't."

We ended up arguing about his ego until the teacher came in and told us to quiet down. I spent the rest of the day staring out the window, waiting for school to end.

(Fun fact: "Deku" means "useless" in MHA)

After school, I got cornered by Kacchan and his gang near the side of the school where no one could see us.

"Hey Kacchan, still mad about losing that argument?" I said, watching them surround me.

"YOU!! YOU'RE JUST A DEKU!"

God, how I hate him sometimes.

"Yeah, and you're just angry Prominence," I said calmly.

His face turned red. He yelled and activated his quirk. I quickly tripped one of his friends and took off running. I sprinted through alleys, cutting corners, trying to lose them. Eventually, I stopped to rest near an abandoned building. I heard voices inside.

"When do we strike?"

"At 4:30, you idiot."

"Again? What's the plan?"

"We plant the bomb, kill as many heroes as possible, and distract them so the others can rob the bank."

"Oh yeah, and how do we bring the heroes to the mall?"

"We've got someone for that. Now get the bomb ready!"

I heard them walking out and quickly hid behind some rubble as one of them carried a heavy bag.

I checked my watch. 3:20. I ran home, thinking about what to do. By the time I got there, I had made up my mind. I had to help. I had to save lives.
