Aliyah P.O.V.

I checked my makeup in my mirror, as I waited for Cordarius to get to school. He said he would be here after the first bell rang for first period, so I just decided on waiting for him in my car.

I grabbed my eyeliner out of my purse, and began lining my eyes with it. I was still kinda skeptical about skipping school today with him, but what's the worst that could happen.

I leaned in closer to my mirror, finishing my makeup while everyone outside was getting ready to go inside of school.

All of a sudden, I heard a loud knock on my window, causing me to jump. I turned my head and took a sighof relief once I seen Marissa standing there, trying to look through my tints.

I hit the locks on the car, and waited for her to open the door.

"Hey, why'd you want me to meet you in your car?" I zipped up my small makeup bag and dropped it in my purse.

"Because." I started. "I need you to do me a favor." I tossed my bookbag in the back seat, and pulled my crossbody bag over my body.

"Okay?? What is it? And why aren't you getting your stuff ready for class?" I sighed. "I'm skipping school today."

She frowned, looking confused. "...But your here in the parking lot."

I smacked my lips together, fanning her off. "I know, Im waiting on someone, then Im leaving." She folded her arms across her chest, leaning back into the window.

"Someone? Someone like who?" I sighed.

"Cordarius."

Her eyes grew wide. "Your skipping school with Cordarius???" I nodded my head.

"What the hell, why?" I sighed. "We're going to go hang out and do some stuff together." I said nonchalantly.

"Y'all been together alot lately......do you like him." I smacked my lips together again. "Really Marissa?"

"Yeah really." She started. "You've been spending alot of time with him, and y'all kissed, so Im just curious to know." She lifted a brow, waiting for me to answer.

I was silent for a second. "I don't know.....Maybe.....I haven't really thought about it like that." She shook her head.

"Li, you just got out a relationship with Marcus, even though it didn't last that long, you still were with him, just slow down, especially with Cordarius' ass."

I sighed. "You act like Im in a relationship with him, or trying to make him my new man, Im not. We're just friends, and we're just hanging out."

"Uh huh, that's what you say now until them feelings start to form."

"I doubt it, Im not even looking at him that way, to have feelings."

"You sure?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. "Im positive."

She took a deep breath, nodding her head. "Alright, so what's this favor you need me to do?"

I smiled. "It's simple." I started.

"Just tell me what work I missed later, so I can make it up when I get home later."

She sighed. "Alright, be safe, and DON'T kiss him anymore." I laughed. "And Im calling you as soon as I get out of school to make sure your okay, I don't trust his ass at all."

She pushed open the door and stepped out of my car. "Bye bitch." I chuckled. "Bye."

She shut my door, leaving me alone.
