1500 Years after the Incursion, 'peace' has been sustained, or at the least no wars. Sunny Starscout a girl who lives in Maritime Bay has been getting visions of a man, someone who's connected to this world deeper than anyone thought. Maybe even en...
The old bell above the town square rang out twice.
Sunny adjusted the strap of her satchel, already half-full of fliers and bread from Dahlia's stand. She ducked beneath the archway of Morning Market, the noise of footsteps and voices echoing against the brick walls as merchants called out their deals for the day.
Three for a bit! Fresh peaches!
Linen from Zephyr Heights, best in Maretime Bay!
She weaved around a delivery cart, apologizing with a grin and half-bow. Everyone here knew her. Sunny Starscout had been raised here, was raised by here. A little stubborn, a little sunny, and always curious about things other ponies, people, and creatures had stopped asking about long ago.
She passed a vendor selling old books and paused for just a moment. There it was again, that feeling. Something tucked in the corner of her mind, urging her to slow down. Her eyes landed on a worn tome with a faded spiral etched on its spine.
She picked it up.
Vendor- Ten bits
Sunny ran her fingers along the cover. It was smooth, but cold, like stone left in moonlight.
Sunny- Five
Vendor- Eight.
Sunny- Deal.
Back at the plaza fountain, Sunny sat cross-legged with the book on her lap, fanning through pages. Most were written in old script, drawings of stars, trees, strange symbols, a name she couldn't read aloud even if she tried. Some of it looked like nonsense. Some of it made her heart race.
She didn't know why. She turned the page and stopped.
A drawing. A massive tree made of roots, branches spiraling into the heavens, and woven into it, six points of light. In the center: a sun.
She blinked. That sun it looked just like her pendant. Her breath hitched. She touched the charm on her chest again. It felt warmer today.
???- Sunny?
She snapped the book shut, startled. Hitch, her lifelong friend and town sheriff, stood holding two iced lemon teas and looking suspicious.

Hitch- You okay?
Sunny- Yeah, Just reading something weird.
Hitch- You and weird, you really need a hobby that doesn't involve ancient ruins and conspiracy theories.
Sunny- I'll get right on that, right after I uncover the forgotten history of the world.
Hitch- You're impossible.
But she wasn't really listening. Her eyes lingered on the treetop drawing. Something stirred inside her.
That night, as Sunny lay in bed with the book beside her, she stared at the ceiling and whispered to no one:
Sunny- Why do I remember things I've never seen? What am I even dreaming about?
Sunny's room was silent except for the ticking of the clock and the gentle wind brushing past her open window. Moonlight streaked across her desk, glinting off the cover of the old book she'd left half-open. She slept curled beneath her blankets, peaceful... until the stillness shifted.
The air grew heavier.
And then she wasn't in her room. The wind howled through towering pines.
Sunny stood barefoot on a stone path, her breath visible in the cold air. A strange fog hugged the trees, curling low and heavy like smoke. Somewhere in the distance, bells echoed. but not like the market bell. These were deep, haunting chimes, ringing through the bones of the forest.
She turned.
There it stood: a ruined castle.
Crumbled towers. Ivy covering fractured spires. Its gates stood open, yawning like a mouth forgotten by time.
She stepped forward. The ground cracked under her weight, revealing glimpses of roots, thick, ancient, glowing faintly beneath the stone. Her fingers brushed one as she passed.
Inside, she found a corridor, dark but lit by strange symbols glowing on the walls. Sun, moon, heart, and star. As she followed them deeper, the path widened into a chamber where a vast door stood embedded in stone, wrapped in carvings of stars and a giant tree twisted into a spiral.
A tomb.
The silence felt thick here. Sacred.
As she reached out to touch the door, figures emerged.
Two of them. Cloaked in silhouette—one with long curly hair tied back, draped in a cloak of feathers and stars. The other, large, Draconic, looming over the other.
They turned toward her.
Though she couldn't see their faces, their presence made her eyes sting. The taller figure loomed over her while the other held out a hand. Sunny stepped forward but She gasped awake.
Her room was still. Her heart thundered in her chest, and sweat clung to her skin like morning dew. She sat up slowly, but something felt wrong—or right in a terrifying way.
The pendant at her neck glowed faintly.
And her hands...
Her hands shimmered.
Just for a moment, gold light traced the veins along her fingers like starlight, curling down toward her palms before fading like a breath on glass.
Sunny stared.

Sunny- What's happening to me.
AUTHORS NOTE: THIS IS A SEQUEL BOOK
This book is a continuation of the God of Reality: World of Friendship book which I had to split because this part would exceed the 200 chapter limit. If you liked this chapter and want to read the backstory to all of this read that, or keep going and follow along but know that a few characters from that book are carried over, and one of them are like Key Main Characters so yeah, do with that what you will.
