"Are you hurt?" the man said again, a small smile escaping his lips.
April blinked and started to stammer as she gained conscious of reality again. "Ah, I'm so sorry I didn't..." April stopped short and looked down at his shirt. It was dripping wet with coffee stains on his white buttoned up shirt.
"Shit!" April cursed and as soon as she realized what she just said, she slapped her mouth with her hands. "Oh my god, I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that!"
The young man looked at April's expression with amusement and started to laugh. "Oh this is fine, I'll just smell like a freshly brewed cup of coffee."
April bit her lip and looked at the beautiful man with an apologetic stare. "I'm so sorry I'm just super clumsy I just-"
"Hey, hey, it's okay," he said and smiled. "Stop apologizing."
April started to sweat. She gulped and stared nervously at the young man. He looked down at the large coffee stain on his shirt and stared back up to April. His smile made her melt. "It's a good thing I work here. I can grab a new shirt."
"Oh you work here?" April questioned, feeling so embarrassed and ashamed. "I'm sorry, I really am. I wasn't looking where I was heading."
"I said not to apologize anymore right?" he said, the corner of his mouth curved into an amused smile. "Where were you heading?"
April fidgeted and stared at the hallway behind him. "I'm heading for the audition?" she said. April figured that since the man worked here, he would be able to direct her to the correct place.
"Oh the audition," he said. "Here, I'll take you there."
April nodded with gratefulness. "Why thank you," she said and beamed. Her smile made her eyes look like the moon. Mr. Kim said it was his favorite features of hers. As if being complimented by a forty something uncle would make her feel amazing, but April took it with gratitude. The young man just smiled back and motioned for her to follow him.
"My name is Jimin by the way," the young man said as they walked down the long corridor. April didn't notice the grandeur of the simple hallway, with its tall ceilings and modern architectural features as he continued to stare at the beautiful man.
"I'm April," she responded and blushed. "How long have you worked here for?"
Jimin looked up, as if he was thinking. "Maybe around 8 years," he muttered. April looked at him in shock.
"8 years? But you look so young?"
"Well my life here started quite early."
"What do you do?"
Jimin paused as he pursed his full pink lips and narrowed his eyes at April. "I guess you could say I'm one of the talents here."
"Oh?" April said, again in surprise. She didn't recognize him. Granted, her knowledge of celebrity life was quite limited. She only knew some of the major actors and actresses in the field and even then, sometimes it took her a while to put a name on a face; her fish like memory.
"Like an actor you mean?"
"Yeah I guess you can say that," Jimin replied and stopped in front of a tall wooden door. "Here's the area for audition."
April smiled and gave Jimin a deep bow. "Thank you so much for your help. I promise I'll buy you a new shirt. Or if you give it to me, I can help dry clean it for you."
Jimin chuckled. "That's alright. It's a cheap shirt anyway I was going to throw it away." April bit her lips and blushed again. She felt like she just met an angel. His charming aura exuded from his friendly and good looking features. With another nod and a bow, she walked inside feeling less nervous and anxious than she was before.
