Other classmates whispered among themselves:

"She got us into serious trouble. Let's just ignore her from now on."

"So what if her grandpa is Chi Lisen? She still has no friends, haha."

"He Fangzhi and Xu Zhiqing are really miserable—grounded at home now."

"We're moving up to high school next semester, and just thinking about being in the same school as Chi Qian pisses me off. Just wait—I'll get back at her..."

The exam bell rang, cutting off the chatter as the proctor walked in.

Chi Qian glanced over the exam paper and suppressed a yawn before starting to write.

Halfway through the test, she caught something flying toward her out of the corner of her eye. She raised her hand, pretending to block it.

"Lin Rui, what's this?!" The teacher marched over to the boy who had thrown the paper ball.

Lin Rui was stunned. He had clearly thrown it at Chi Qian—how did it bounce back?

Thinking quickly, he said, "Teacher, Chi Qian told me to throw her the answers. I thought it was wrong, so I was going to report her!"

Chi Qian replied calmly, "Teacher, Lin Rui is ranked third from the bottom in class. I'm ranked first. I'd have to be suicidal to ask him for answers."

Lin Rui quickly changed his story. "I misspoke! I meant she threw answers to me—"

Chi Qian shrugged. "Then let the teacher compare the handwriting on the paper and see if it's mine."

Lin Rui was speechless.

The proctor, having heard Chi Qian was Chi Lisen's granddaughter, didn't dare take it lightly. He immediately called other teachers to review the surveillance footage.

As expected, only Lin Rui had been acting suspiciously. Chi Qian did nothing but focus on her test.

"Lin Rui, stop the exam. Come with me," the proctor said sternly.

Lin Rui's face burned with humiliation. He'd never been so embarrassed. As he walked out, he shot Chi Qian a venomous glare.

Chi Qian lazily raised her hand. "Teacher, I'd like to submit my paper early."

Lin Rui nearly exploded.

So what if she finished fast? Finishing fast doesn't mean getting full marks!

Yeah? Try getting first place in the whole grade!

The rest of the exams went smoothly with no further drama.

Chi Qian's middle school career officially ended with the final bell.

Her homeroom teacher organized a graduation party right after school.

The venue was a high-end, members-only entertainment club in Fuguang City—Jinbi Huihuang.

Other classes were also hosting parties there.

For instance, Class 2 of Grade 10, which included Ling Qian and Gu Hua.

Gu Hua had skipped a grade in elementary school, so she was now in the same year as Ling Qian.

Upon hearing that Chi Qian was also at the venue, Gu Hua and Ling Qian sought her out.

Chi Qian had just stood up to get some snacks when Ling Qian blocked her path with an impatient expression.
