This book is Rated Teens and will not contain explicit themes. But before you read this, I must warn you that this book may contain angsty scenes that will be considered as a brick thrown, and emotional themes such as PTSD (although not focused on) resulting in nightmares.
What happens in this book is not canon although it follows the orginal plot of the movie. This is a product of my imagination and the chemistry that I have seen (more like tension) between Natasha and Jake that I saw in the Top Gun: Maverick movie. This story takes place during and after the movie. Also, this takes place in alternate universe where some of the fandom's headcanons (such as Natasha and Jake sleeping together before the movie takes place) and my own headcanons/what ifs (such as all the Daggers knowing each other way before the mission) truly happened.
We all have different opinions so if you don't ship Phoenix and Hangman (maybe you prefer BobNix, SereShaw, or Rooster and Phoenix), its totally fine.
English is not my first language. Please bear with me. And you may find this boring because as I said, it just follows the plot of Top Gun: Maverick but in Phoenix's POV with little (a lot) original scenes.
