Morning slips in without asking, spilling gold through the curtains. Taehyung blinks into the light. It’s just another day… or it should be. Yet something feels different.A faint weight in the air. A quiet ache beneath his ribs.
He tells himself it’s nothing,just his foolish heart again, chasing shadows.
Still, his feet carry him to the garden.
The air greets him with the scent of blooming flowers, soft and sweet. The kind of scent that should calm him. But it doesn’t.Every breath tastes like a memory.Every glance at the petals reminds him of him. The man he swore to forget.
He’s lost count of how many times he’s made that promise. And yet… here he is. Because how does one forget the person who first taught them what love is?
He can still hear the laughter. Still feel the warmth of a hand that once held his. And oh, how sure he had been of his feelings, of his choice, of his Jeon Ggukie.
He had been ready to give himself, entirely.
But the male had vanished.
No goodbye. No explanation. Just an emptiness left in his place, a silence so deep it presses against Taehyung’s chest. The garden feels heavier now. The flowers still bloom, but the joy in them is gone.
Because he knows no matter how many times he breathes in their fragrance it will always carry the ghost of the one who left.
His empty eyes shut as he takes another breath... only for a lonely tear to roll down.

A sob escaped from his lips as he leaned against the window. Why? Why is he now feeling this? He was doing alright, he tells himself thousands of times yet...in vain, he knows he can't give himself to someone which isn't he gguk. His love...his everything he once called. Yet a part of him still wants to be tough, to hate the other for leaving him, confused, hurt, whisper of sweet promises that are only lies, he tells himself..oh he does yet, how can he still not be able to come to accept the truth?the harsh reality that he's going to be someone else's. Someone else will take this Kim taehyung that Jeon once vow he will...
He wipes his eyes with shaky hands. Before he takes another breath in. His teary eyes land towards the phone that is ringing into his hand, he knows who it is. His fiance, of course...who else?
Pulling himself together he picked it up and mumbled, "hello"?
"Tae? Hey....just wanted to check on you...are you free today?" The voice came out, excited... with hope that taehyung couldn't bring himself to decline as his reply "I am..are you coming"?
"Cool, yes.. I'll come and pick you up for our date" he agreed and the call ended, this is it...sweet right? Yeah bitter sweet but for him this is enough, dates with his fiance it feels right, of course. The man will soon be his husband. He'll naturally get over everything. It's fine. He told himself before walking towards his closet to get his clothes for his date today with his fiance.

After getting ready he walked downstairs to see bo-gum standing, he must've come now. The older look up at taehyung with a soft smile once their eyes meet.
"Tae" Bo-gum let out as Taehyung smiled softly a little while walking towards him.

"Let's go"? Bo-gum let out as Taehyung gave a gentle nod in return, informing his mother who's cooing over them and told them to enjoy their date with a teasing tone.
They went to a restaurant, and had their meal together with a small conversation which bo-gum started as always. He knows taehyung...shy, soft and quiet.
"Tae" the older let out making taehyung look up, his body still when bo-gum forward his hand to crease his cheek softly. "You're okay with this right? I know everything is too soon for you, but you know....I love you, right"?
Once.... twice.. taehyung blinks, before gulping the lump into his throat. Love?.......why does the man in front of him love him? He wonders...he wonders is this love? But the love he learned.... Shaking his head with a bitter little smile he looks down before taking a deep breath.
"Yes hyung...I know"
And that gave bo-gum a smile of relief, as he nodded. After the day almost comes to an end they both return. Bo-gum dropped taehyung to his house and left, while taehyung went inside of his house, walking while his thoughts filled with today. Just when he stepped inside of his house...and still......why there were so many flowers? Why is his mother looking at him like that?
"Mom"? Taehyung let out, with a frown before walking towards her. "What happened? Who came? And These flowers who__
Yes ik you'll are very disappointed in me, I understand. As you can see new update~ I'm back with it, I'll start writing this and finish asap I can. Ik you'll must've lost hope in me, and stop interacting or lose interest to read my books anymore. I sincerely apologize for that, my life is getting busy with each passing day. I can't be the same as I was when I was new to this platform and almost everyday. I hope you understand me and my point but still I'll try my best as much as I can
