Kaelum and her mother Lorie arrived six in the morning - an unfortunate time for Kaelum because, for her, it was too late to sleep and far too early to eat... Her mother had a meeting around seven, so she decided to just follow her mother's building and wait outside. The luggage had long been taken to the house her mother owned...

In fact, said land around the house was this early meeting's main topic. Her relatives claimed it was a lot of land bought when the housing prices were a tad bit less worth an arm and a leg and a bit more reachable if you were born into the right family, that is... According to her mother, some government officials wished to buy i,t, and her mother went there personally to reject said offer... Complicated stuff that Kaelum did not understand as she was the youngest; therefore, the land would not be her problem. Thank the Highforces for her merciful birth order... Her older brother would be more suited to tell politicians to kick it... She would not last long in politics her grandmother said it best... Before she even uttered an insult her expression would have already conveyed every insult under the sun.

Instead, she sat down with her laptop and began writing a chapter in her book...
Her hands making little clicking noises on the laptop.

"There's a spelling mistake in the second sentence of the first paragraph." The voice was that of a guy, Kaelum could feel his presence beside her. It was an imposing presence and most would have looked at him immediately but Kaelum instead looked towards the aftermentioned mistakes and noted;

"OH YEAH! Thank you!"

The man seemed to crouch down next to her and looked at the screen before his hand reached for the laptop.

"May I?"

"Please, please do."

The laptop was handed over and he scanned the document.

"It's a bit slow-paced... Also, make sure you get rid of some of these unnecessary scenes."

The two sat there for a good half hour. Before a middle-aged man stomped out of the room looking a total mess. His face flustered and his dark hair a mess. However even in that state he couldn't help but stop abruptly. His jaw dropped before he muttered out the words:

"Gabriel?"

"Alex? - You lost your composure in there didn't you." The man sighed standing up.

Kaelum for the first time realised how... tall this man was. She looked at him white robbed and golden-haired staring down at his host.

Alex looked as if he was about to say something before the door opened again and out came Lorie Bes. "Let's go Kaelum or else this lovely man may try and give you architectural advice."

"For the last time Miss Bes this city does NOT resemble a hospital!"

"What even happened?" Kaelum asked as her mother began dragging her.

"Stupidity..." Gabriel sighed calming his host down.

"Don't leave yet Lorie. You two need to discuss this like adults."
