Should've Been There For You

It was the next morning Carter decided to go get a workout in at the hotel gym, he was lifting when somone came over

Jon-"Need a spotter?"

Carter-"Sure".

Jon spots Carter as he's lifting the weights then helps him put the bar back when he's done

Jon-"Gotta say you're in better shape than you were in when you left".

Carter-"Yeah everyones been saying that". (chuckles)

Jon-"I know we're technically not even supposed to be seen together, but I had to talk to you since I didn't get a chance to last night after our segment,  I missed ya kid".

Carter-"I missed you too, I missed all of you guys, but I had to do what was best for me at the time".

Jon-"I don't know if your dad told you, but we had a meeting the week after you left all of us, Tony was beside himself he knew he fucked up big time, he said not to mention you or anything if you went to the fed, Eddie blew him a new one though".

Flashback

TK-"We can mention him now, but if he were to go to WWE then we will not mention him".

Nick-"TK you can't be serious?"

Eddie-"If I wanna fuckin mention the kids name I'll mention the kids name especially if I'm in a storyline with The Bucks, half of us here wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the kid Tony, so grow the hell up!"

Steve (Sting) "I have to say I agree with Eddie here, he's apart of AEW history so far".

Jon-"You did this to yourself Khan, having people come in left and right from there and them getting title shots before him, he worked his ass off!"

End of flashback

Carter-"Gonna have to thank him then when I see him".

Jon-"I should've been there for you".

Carter-"Uncle Jon don't my dad and Nick keep trying to apologize, it was more TK than them, it was my decision to leave".

Jon-"So when do I get to meet that lil rascal?"

Carter-"Well I'm about done here, if you want to can come up to the room". (smiles)

They leave the gym and head to Carters room, when they opened the door Renee was already in there along with Matt and Nick

Jon-"Dang it she beat me to it".

Renee-(laughs) "He is the cutest ever, looks so much like you and your dad combined Carter".

Matt-"It's scary sometimes". (smiles)

Skyler-"Wanna hold him Jon?"

Jon-"Of course, I mean it's been awhile since Nora, but I'm ready".

Renee hands RJ over to Jon and he sits down on the bed with him

Nick-"Big mean Jon Moxley holding a baby".

Jon-"Oh shush". (smiles at RJ)

Matt-"How much did you and Hanger drink last night?"

Carter-"Me not so much, him well I had to help him back to the room, why he isn't up yet?"

Skyler-"Jess called and asked if you were up so you could go wake him up".

Matt-"You thinking what I'm thinking sport?"

Carter-"Call Brandon tell him to bring the camera".

Skyler-"Oh my lord".

Renee-"We'll stay here".
