#8 - Force field of light

Black Sapphire was sitting on the floor of the spire, surrounded by pillows, with a sleeping  Candy Apple on a couple of them. He was reading through one of his scripts when a portal opened at the center of the room. Out walked a drenched cookie with a not so satisfied expression.

,,Master! How did it go? Did you demoralize the kids like you wanted?- Asked the radio host walking up to Shadow Milk's female disguise, just to be passed by. The Blue cookie threw themselves on a nearby sofa and sighed exhausted.

,,From that i guess id didn't go well?" he asked sitting next to the beast. ,,You seem to run out of power and energy a lot recently master. You should rest."

,,I can't Sapphire! And for the record don't wanna!" frowned the beast sighing into a pillow. ,,I need that book back! And i am so close to getting Truthless Recluse back (he isn't), and wiping that annoying smile off his face!(he likes the smile)

,,Uhm... Why don't you just... take it when he sleeps?" Asked Black sapphire.

...

,,WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT?!" He yelled jumping off the couch. He transformed back to himself, while opening a portal.

,,That's good and all master but maybe you should rest first? You seem to be barely standing" tried to stop him Sapphire.

,,It's gonna be ok kid! I will just go there, take the book and come back! And maybe spend a minute under a random child's bed but that's all!" shrugged the beast. ,,If i don't come back for dinner only then you can worry, ok? Have a sleepover with Candy Apple or something."

,,If you say so." he said sitting back down ,,Be careful tho! We don't want Candy apple throwing another tantrum because you didn't read her any story goodnight"

Shadow Milk just smiled back before diving into the portal.

(Pure Vanilla PoV - 3 hours ago)

He just got ready for bed when he decided to read something before sleep. What better than that diary?

Today is gonna be great! Me and my friends decided to organize a sleepover. I don't know why i love our sleepovers so much, but luckily for me my friends like them too, so much so, that we have one like every week!

I'm writing this siting on one, we are waiting for on friend- OH! I didn't really write that much about my friends in this diary so i maybe should?

Ok, so here is how my sleepovers go with every friend :D

Silk Flour, she usually gets here second, after me ofc :D! She likes to just sit and read, which is not bad, i like doing that too, we like to read the same book and later debate about it. Oh! She makes awesome desserts, for example, today she brought us a jelly salad, with jellies i had never seen to be honest.

Sweet Sugar, Shes the one who falls asleep first. She always brings with her a TON of pillows! And makes those fluffy clouds that can be used as pillows too :D! Sometimes when we have pillow fights, the finalists fight on her flying clouds, its funny seeing them trying not to fall ( i never get to the finals TnT )

Soldier Salt is pretty serious when we are... literally everywhere, EXCEPT OUR SLEEPOVERS! He acts kinda like a drunk teenager. Outside he is composed and doesn't use violence, if not necessary, but our sleepovers? He will fight with Crimson Spice about who's din straws are shorter, like STRAWS?! REALLY? But its fun :D (we are waiting for him right now)

OH! And the red dude sitting next to me, peaking into the diary is Crimson Spice. He ALWAYS gets a spot n the pillow fight finals! And tells the weirdest stories. I'm pretty sure all are fake, but you can't really argue... he might destroy the table if you do.

The space were the dot was supposed to be written neatly like most of the diary was smeared, and after you could make out a completely different writing style.

Crimson Spice is awesome and the best at berrypoly <-- he really is, somehow i'm always in jail

Anyways the thing i like the most is the cuddle pile! This usually happens after one of u had an ESPECIALLY rough day, or after someone is just sad. We just tale many of these fluffy clouds, stick them to ourselves and just hug that person till they are happy enough! :D

,,Isn't that a cute idea" giggled Vanilla before seeing a note at the end of the page.

Soldier Salt didn't show up, we are kinda worried... but it will be fine, i'm sure he just got busy... i think we all need the cuddle pile...

Vanilla found he note kinda sad. That cookie probably contacted them after that, but that note was worrying nonetheless. 

Thinking about these cookies made him feel a sense of deja vu. He felt like he heard about these cookies somewhere but he had no idea where...

He should just sleep this through.

(Back to Shadow Milk PoV - present moment)

He got out of the portal in the garden outside Pure Vanillas room. He looked around before transforming into a snake and climbing up the wall. The window was for some reason open, so he just slid in. He crawled along the floor going around the king sized bed, towards the dresser he saw the book at. When he crawled on the furniture he was out of breath... maybe he should have listened to his follower, but then he noticed the healer sleeping. Even when he sleeps he looks so calm and perfect and.... was he glowing? Yeah, he was definitely kinda glowing. Finally snapping out of the trance, he crawled over to the book but just as he touched it with his slimy snake body, a flash of light THREW HIM AGAINST A WALL!

Pure Vanilla snapped out of his slumber, looking at the direction of the long creature on the ground.

,,Oh my witches!" He panicked, quickly jumping out off the bed and kneeling next to the dazed creature. ,, Are you alright little-...blue snake?"

Also, TIME FOR SOME DIARY ANGST???? But first we want SLEEPY VANILLA!
