Chapter 26

Korra felt a bit saddened. She did crammed all her errands in the morning on purpose to spend the rest of the afternoon with Asami. Korra was about to do what she normally does when Asami does paperwork. Which was sit in her office and watch her show on her phone and headphones to keep Asami company.

But as soon as she was about to reach for the doorknob, she backed away.

Korra ended up hanging out with Bolin at Euphoria's for a drink. Euphoria was just a regular bar till 10pm it turned into a night club.

"So you and Opal, you guys been strong" Korra said

"Oh yes, we're actually doing pretty great"

"And I heard your show is doing great, you've been a little famous" Korra added making the boy blush

"Yeah, I really hope this is my big break, it would be nice if Opal didn't have to work" Bolin said "she works so hard already" He said

"That's sweet" Korra was happy for her best friend

She then heard her phone buzz. It was a text message and it wasn't from Asami. She sighed choosing to ignore it.

"I hope you know if you're marrying Asami, you either gotta delete all those contacts or get a new number" Bolin pointed out

"I don't know what you're talking about" Korra raised a brow

"Jeez Korra, do you forget we lived together before?" Bolin crossed his arms "you got names on there of women and if you forgot their names you labeled them from 1 to whatever number"

Korra downed her drink and rubbed her head "I'm the worse"

"Hey, what if we had the others join us, it'll be like the good old days" Bolin said "just me, you, Jinora, Kai, Mako and Iroh"

"That'll be great, but the club doesn't open till in 4 hours" Korra raised a brow

"And? I look a mess, we can get ready, get some food then come here" Bolin pointed out "besides, Mako is having daddy daughter time for the next 2 hours" He pointed out

"Alright, alright" Korra laughed "you convinced me"

Korra got to the estate and walked into Asami's office. Asami was at the desk looking through so many papers, she was frustrated, and knowing that this isn't even half of what her father does.

"Hey babe" Korra said taking a seat on the couch that was near the desk "is there anything I could help you with?"

Asami sighed "I just need some space, I only have an hour and a half before Yasuko comes home, I want to get these projects out the way so I can have some time with her" she rubbed her forehead not looking away from the papers

"Alright" Korra got up and walked towards the door "oh um, when Mako drops off Yasuko, we're gonna go out for dinner and go to Euphoria's"

That made Asami look up at Korra "just the two of you?"

"God no, we're gonna meet up with the Bolin, Kai, Iroh, and jinora" Korra shrugged
