No Strings Attached

Chapter 4

"Korra, there's a Bolin at the front desk here to see you" Korra's radio went off

Korra's eyes widened. She hasn't seen Bolin since last night, not evening this morning since he was still asleep. She hasn't even called or texted him.

"Shit, I have to go" Korra told the girl who was half naked and kissing on her neck

"So soon?"

Korra chuckled at the clinginess, "yes, besides my break ended 20 minutes ago, so you have to come up with an excuse for me, miss boss lady" Korra said her brow as she started buttoning up her shirt. "And this is the last time, we can't keep doing this"

"Eh, we'll see" Asami said clipping her bra back on

Korra grabbed Asami's hand "Asami, im being serious, I need to keep this job, you might me the boss but so is Hiroshi, and if he finds out I'm out of a job, and I'm not looking for a relationship right now, and I don't know you like that"

"Don't worry, he won't find out, this can be our secret, no one needs to know" Asami said "I like you Korra, you respect me and you treat me differently, I'm not asking for you to be my girlfriend, just.. you know and sexual relationship only"

Korra raised her brow "you want me to be your fuck buddy?"

"Look, it's better that than starting an actual relationship, because who knows, say we have a terrible breakup, either you quit and I have to struggle looking for someone to replace you, or I fire you and you go looking for another job, that honestly can't match the pay here" Asami said "if we do what I'm saying, there'll be no strings attached, nothing. I'll finally have a sexual partner that meets my desires and you get well... sex" Asami shrugged "what do you say?"

"You're crazy, what if we get into a real relationship, with someone else?"

"Well if you find someone, you decide wether you want to continue what we got going on or leave"

"And you?"

Asami stayed silent for a minute "I know what I want" Asami she simply said then cleared her throat "now, make a decision, if this isn't what you want, that's too bad, but we'll just act like nothing happened"

"I-...just give me time to think about it" Korra said then left the room. Korra made it to the front desk finding Bolin "what are you doing here?" She asked him

"Checking to see if you're alive, where'd you go last night? You never made it home" Bolin said hugging his friend

"I'm fine, I was at.." Korra was about to say Asami's name, not here, she doesn't even know if she should say she slept with her boss "you remember that one girl I had a one stand with"

"The rich one?" He asked earning a nod

"I left something at her place, I went to go pick it up, and she didn't feel comfortable with me driving while I was drunk so she had me spend the night" She explained "and no I didn't sleep with her"

Bolin looked at her up and down "did you just have sex right now?"

"What?" Korra's eyes widened

"Like not that long ago, you have the 'I just had sex' glow... Korra in the middle of work you had-" Korra cover his mouth quickly with her left hand

"Shut the fuck up Bo" she whispered

He removed her hand that covered his mouth "right sorry sorry" he then looked at the hand that covered his mouth "that better not been the hand you used"

"Oh shit it was"

"Are you fucking serious?" He started wiping his mouth in a panic

"No im a righty, I only use my left with my right gets tired" she rolled her eyes "and I wash my hands you know, and I didn't even do it"
